Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich predicted disaster
for his party if the conservative wing of the GOP
continues to field independent candidates to the right
of the partys nominee.
If we get into a cycle where there are tea parties and
there are conservative third-party candidates, we will
make [Nancy] Pelosi speaker for life, Gingrich told
POLITICO in an interview Thursday, calling the
practice totally destructive.
But Gingrich, who broke with many fellow conservatives
by getting behind the liberal Republican who was
nominated but ultimately dropped out and backed the
Democrat in a New York special congressional election,
admitted that Dede Scozzafava was too far to the left to
hold the GOPs center-right coalition together

Has he gone "pro-choice" (to accomodate his latest piece of tail) yet?
(Happens to a lot of older ex-conservatives. And Rush says abortion is why the country-club GOPers hate the conservatives: their spolied rich trophy wives are pro-abortion, and for them, it's a matter of being considered gauche in their social circles, not of morality.)
Cheers!

If the Conservative cannot win the primary, it means theres no taste for him in that particular district - hey, it happens. Or that RINOs bend the rules or otherwise collude with the Dems to allow enough crossover votes, illegal aliens, multiple student votes, and the like, in order to elbow the conservative out of the way.
Nice try.
Staten Island -- isn't that in New York City?
Cheers!

Here in Florida the Tea Party was created and on Fox Radio they said that if Marco Rubio loses the primary race he’s rumored to switch to the Tea Party and run.

“The important lesson to draw from this is that EVERY one of these faces they put up that are supposedly conservative are actually NOT.
Theyve been scamming us for a long time.”
Repeat that until everyone finally gets it!

If the GOP would put their money and behind-the-scenes efforts to pushing the conservative, the conservative wouldn't LOSE the primary.
No more RINOs. Just as the country under Truman was riddled with Communist moles (see the Venona cables and Ann Coulter's Treason), the GOP is riddled with Dem moles.
We need to get rid of them.
By accepting their influence as a fait accompli you are beginning to sound like one, despite the claim on your FReeper home page.
Cheers!

There is another way.
Have the GOP caucus with the blue dogs for the sole and express purpose of putting a true moderate centrist DEM (one of the blue dogs) in as Speaker.
Nancy is the driver; she is the problem.
And she and her ideological ilk are the true minority.
Hey Newt -- remember all the gentlemanly, Marquis of Princess rules the GOP adopted when they were in a "tie" with the Dems?
And which you no doubt approved of?
Did the Dems run, or treat you, as "kinder, gentler liberals" when they got into power?
No?
Then take your cowardly effeminate ass out of here and STFU.
Cheers!

I pledge myself to the best person who is conservative , be that person democrat or Republican{Most likely Republican}.
People should be loyal to the Country and the Ideas it was founded on, not one person or a group of people.
As for Radicalism, It is because there are a lot of people frustrated by the way the GOP has not fulfilled the wishes of its core supportors.

Newt put together a brilliant plan for victory one other time and hes likely to do it again. Yeah, but for which side?
Look at the causes and candidates he has PUBLICLY espoused of late.
Newt: Benedict Arnold or Rudolf Hess?

Oh, an *Iowan*.
Afraid of losing your relevance as the great standard-bearer in the primaries if conservatives are allowed to prosper, eh?
Full Disclosures:
Q. Why does Iowa State have astroturf at its football stadium?
A. To prevent the cheerleaders from grazing.
Q. Did you hear about the new parachute developed at the University of Iowa?
A. It opens on impact.
Yes, I'm from Minnesota. So I know what spineless RINOs can do (Franken won by apparent vote fraud, including 100 votes found in the trunk of a car. And check out what happpened in Two Harbors...)

The true test of a RINO is that is the person willing to give in on or not certain principles the GOP was built on and served it so well.
The truest way to ensure that there is no third party split is to put Conservatives up for elections in primaries to begin with. Not putting up someone who gets support just because that person has a “R” after his or hers name.
Stuff like evolution and Prayer in schools are small stuff.
But we must focus on bigger things like Abortion and taxes and Obamacare and gun control and stuff like that.
IMHO, You are a conservative if you believe in evolution as long as you also believe that school children should be allowed to explore other theories. I guess I am going to get flamed as well for that, but what the hell.
