We have been looking for Osama Bin Laden for years. Has anybody ever put a picture of Obama next to Osama and removed by photo shop Osama’s Beard? You think we know Obama’s missing background?

Why did he bow to the Saudi’s?

America shoud be worried about Obama! He will see the questions bout the shooter are never answered.

The dirt bag was born and raised in Roanoke Va. Other than claims made by his cousin, wanting their minute of fame, I have no ideal where he attended a cerdo house.

I just know for a fact the military command is trying to hide their neglect in this matter. Several general officers need to hand in their papers.

This was not a spur of the moment decision by the shooter. His choice of a FN 5.7 handgun shows malice and forethought.

“I have no ideal where he attended a cerdo house.”

I posted links showing it was the Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church Va.

“I just know for a fact the military command is trying to hide their neglect in this matter. Several general officers need to hand in their papers.”

Did it ever dawn on you that “the military command”
follow orders from Congress and the White House.
If you want to place blame follow the PC trail.

There are a few conscientious objectors in the Army.
They follow orders or go to the RCF. They don't massacre fellow soldiers. Your falling right into the hands of the left. Where was the FBI? Did they notify forcecom? Or did the FBI fall victim to the same pc pressure?

We still don’t know what this guy has been doing all of these years. There is an 8 year gap before he started at Tech and then someone hands him a commission and a slot at Med School, these things don’t grow on trees.

We still don’t know what this guy has been doing all of these years. There is an 8 year gap before he started at Tech and then someone hands him a commission and a slot at Med School, these things don’t grow on trees.

According to a NY Times timeline, here:

- Hasan joined the army in 1988, right after graduating from Roanoke's William Fleming H.S.

- Hasan graduated from V Tech College of Agrriculture and Life Sciences with a BS degreee in 1995, "after attending several community colleges."

According to the Roanoke Times, former neighbors of  the Hasans in Vinton said he went to Virginia Western (a community college), and The Roanoke Times archives show he graduated from Virginia Tech in 1995, but...

"Virginia Tech, however, had no record of Hasan's participation in its Corps of Cadets or ROTC program. The Washington Post reported he enlisted in the Army after high school."

According to foxdc.com:

Military records show he also served in the ROTC as an undergraduate at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg and received a bachelor's degree in biochemistry there in 1997.

But college officials said Friday that Hasan graduated with honors in biochemistry in 1995 and there was no record of him serving in any ROTC program.

He previously had attended Barstow Community College in Barstow, Calif., and Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke, Va., according to Virginia Tech records.

So to sum up, the Army paid his college tuition, he graduated twice with the same degree, after either seven or nine years which included community college in at least two states, and he did and didn't join the ROTC.

This mess doesn't reflect very well on the Army, Dave, and I doubt that has anything to do with Congress or the Executive.

I’m painfully aware of the PC crap, and where it comes from — but I’m talking about the screwed-up records for Hasan.

Who do you think maintains those records?
Unionized civilians that Clinton put into place.
Who do you think screws up all our procurement?
Unionized civilians that Clinton put into place.

Shall I go on?
Don't get me started here.
You know nothing about what todays Army puts up with.
Now the left wants to blame us?
They created this mess.

By the way where were the FBI?
They knew Hasan was a problem 6 months ago.
Probably buried under the same pc crap.

If the Army's not responsible for this guy after 11 years, why is the FBI responsible? He's only been on their radar for six months, and I doubt they can go stepping on Army toes with impunity.

The ARMY could do nothing because Hasan had to do something in violation of regulations first.

What are you saying Hasan did before the event on 11 November?

Wined?

Sorry but that wont get you court marshalled.

Can you imagine the $h!t storm if Hasan was called into the C.O.’s office and told to stay away from that mosque.

Did the FBI report Hasan’s activities to Centcom?
Did the CID have an open investigation on him?

No and No.

And you're absolutely sure of both those statements, how?

“And you're absolutely sure of both those statements, how?”

And your sure it was the some how Army's fault, How?

If the FBI had reported Hasan making Terroristic Threats (if that is / was the case) to the DODCID Hasan would have been confined under UCMJ pending an investigation. That is SOP.

In a better world Hasan would have been dishonorably discharged when he started making his disgruntled statements.
Thanks to PC directives that is no more.

I bet the base C.O.'s are getting this directive right about now:

Just don't come up dirty on a piss test.
Now I know some good solders that could have
been rehabilitated and put to pasture with a DOD.
Rant about Allah, that is PC protected.

In case you are skeptical, this character witness ought to help you out:

I concede your point that Hasan didn't, technically, violate regulations. Other than that, this guy bothers me more than  Sgt. Asan Akbar, who fragged his commanding officers in Kuwait; and more than John Mohammed, who sits on death row for the beltway sniper murders, just to name a few.

Why?

Because this guy was allowed to continue, after he got his MD in 2001, to achieve the status of Army psychiatrist. And what exactly does an Army psychiatrist do in time of this particular war? His work consists mainly in counseling soldiers returning from a battlefield in which they've witnessed the horrific results of Islamic extremism -- their buddies' bodies ripped to shreds by IED's; innocent civilians, including children, blown up in the name of religion. Blood and body parts.

And after all that, returning to the states with nightmare scenarios pushing them to the point of despair, they are offered -- the services of a radical muslim counselor?

Sorry, I can't think of anything more sadistic or punishing to the brave men and women who volunteer to fight our enemy. Whether this happened through bureaucratic BS or political correctness really doesn't matter. There were ways to derail him, to give him some job far away from the action; to give him ratings so poor that he'd only be fit for counseling chipmunks. But that didn't happen. He was pushed along like some automaton, without regard to potential damage to our troops.

Sorry, no, I can't forgive on the basis of PC. It was a failure of imagination and empathy by his immediate superiors. Let the lives of 13 souls, and the agony of the wounded and the families affected, be on their heads.
