The NRCC is always chaired by a Republican member of the House, who may serve up to two consecutive terms. The current chair is Rep. Pete Sessions of Texas. Recent former chairmen include Rep. Bill Paxon (1994-98), Rep. Tom Davis (1998-2002), Rep. Tom Reynolds (2002-2006), who was seen as Paxon’s protege and who represented his former district in Erie County, New York, and Rep. Tom Cole (2006-2008). It is governed by an Executive Committee of 11 members, which includes the party’s Leader in the House ex-officio, and other members elected by the Republican Conference following a House election.

and

In 2008 the NRCC concentrated on trying to help incumbent Republicans win re-election. Even so, the committee had to make “triage”-type decisions about allocating its funds. In October 2008, it canceled several hundred thousand dollars worth of television advertising time slated for the re-election campaigns of Michele Bachmann, Marilyn Musgrave, and Tom Feeney, having concluded that they could not win. [13] The decision drew criticism from the conservative Family Research Council, which stated, “It appears that the NRCC is abandoning social conservative candidates and the issues for which they stand….”[14]

They're not gonna support the candidate with the (C) after the name, they're gonna support the candidate with the (R) after their name.

Its hard to understand how the Republican party can survive this level of cluelessness.

I don't find it hard to understand.  The big shots running the party aren't conservative.  Conservatives and Conservatism stay firmly planted on the right.  The GOP has been drifting slowly to the left for well over a decade.  If you're mad now, I don't know where the hell you've been for the last 8 years.

Well, likely a case of the same Soros folks who took over the Dem Party and turned it into the Socialist-Fascists Party, also infiltrated the Repub Party and enuched it, turning it into the Wannabe Democrats Party.

What was the point of this comment? Gees. No need to be a jerk.

Wasn't Paxon's wife Susan Malanari one of Dole's {Liberal} keynote speakers at the 96 convention with Christie Todd Whittman? The GOP suffered a fatal wound in January 1989. It died in the summer of 1996. Nothing nor no one can bring it back now. It's dead. Reagan was in fact the last true Republican POTUS. Not perfect by any means but the last one who help to the majority of the parties former values.

We GOT to fight them. And we got to do it so they NOTICE!

We have no choice now. With Sarah endorsing Doug Hoffman, and defying Newt, the RNC, and RCCC, we have crossed the Rubicon. There is no turning back.

Millions of us have pledged to support Sarah come hell or high water, and she has stepped forward, possibly severing her (dubious) support from the party hacks.

The Republican party is in a civil war, and our first offensive is against the back-stabbing RINOs, the nutless, gutless scam artists who have repeatedly capitulated to the Democrats, betrayed their voters, betrayed their oaths of office, betrayed American citizens, and turned over the reins of government to a cabal of unabashed communists.

My point is, if you suddenly become angry because Obama was elected, you haven’t been in the trenches all that long. Besides, I don’t need to have every voice of talk radio tell me I’m supposed to be angry about one thing or another.

This isn’t about the RNC (Republican National Committee), it’s about the RNCC (Republican Natl Congressional Committee). They’re related but not the same organization. At least technically.

Who is on the National Republican Congressional Committee? Are they controlled by the same people who control Obama?

You could probably argue that there are members of that organization that voted for the Porkulus bill, among other things.  Eric Cantor, who seems to find himself branded the new face of the Conservative movement, voted for the Porklulus bill. Ron Paul, who rants against government irresponsibility, has voted for over nine thousand earmarks just this year alone.

LOL! Like I said. No more bibbles for me at 4 AM. Thank you. I have lost my mind from lack of proper nourishment, which I am about to remedy. You must understand. My only live company most days is a 19 month old who just learned to sing Go Go Godzilla and a Malamute named Bear!
HOWEVER, in my defense, she has ALSO learned that whenever, wherever she sees an American flag, she raises her fist and screams at the top of her lungs, “FEE DUM!!!”

Pleeeeze let Skuzziefava lose big in the NY-23!!!

Perhaps it might demonstrate to the wheels in the GOP that people don’t give a damn about their liberal entreaties or their backing of liberal candidates.

Conservatives need to take charge of the GOP.

Hey Jeb Bush, when you sell out all your beliefs and values to win, what is it that you’ve won?

If our beliefs and values are as solid and sound as you say that they are, how does it hurt us in the long run by sticking to them? Sure in the short run, there will be some losses, But the truth will come out if we stick to our guns.

If you are so sure that the DemoGenerates idiocies, will eventually disillusion all but their most fervid cronies, then they may succede in the short term, but clearer minds will eventually prevail, and their rob Peter to pay Paul form of governing will collapse under their weight of their idiotic and ever increasing, top heavy structure of Lilliputian “control everybody!” anal retentive laws.

Peope will see through their BS “Eminence Front” Party with their MSM storm troopers and know them for the dumbass “intellectuals” they so desperately claim to be.

And come flooding into the conservative movement for sanitys sake.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To the NRCC:
‘If you won’t represent our views.
Don’t claim to speak for us!’
We *will* disavow you.
