GOP officials: We won't abandon Dede

The National Republican Congressional Committee remains committed to embattled GOP nominee Dede Scozzafava in the upstate New York House special election, even as many of the party's top names throw their support to Conservative Party nominee Doug Hoffman.

Two party officials tell POLITICO that the NRCC will continue to air TV ads propping up Scozzafava in the days leading up to the Nov. 3 contest and plans to keep up a near relentless barrage of press releases slamming Hoffman.

NRCC is planning to spend 200-300K proving they plan to blow the 2010 election and they simply just don't get it.

Its hard to understand how the Republican party can survive this level of cluelessness.

We love it when the dems fight amongst themselves, but I’ll tell you what. There is a CIVIL WAR going on in the Republican party right now. I mean an all out, guns ablazin’, civil freakin’ war, and we Conservatives better win it and take this party back from the top down and the bottom up. NO prisoners...

The may be THE opening shot in a war for control of the party.
It won’t end well.

If we all write to them and tell them we won’t give ONE PENNY MORE TO THEM..we’ll give all our money straight to our chosen candidates, maybe they’ll listen.

The GOP seems determined to bring is own version of socialism to the USA and is scared of being frustrated by the nonsocialist people in and around the party.

The RNC gets ZERO from me. They are not even close to representing what I believe and stand for.

Who is on the National Republican Congressional Committee? Are they controlled by the same people who control Obama?

And the frustrating thing is, the Democrats are in the weakest position in years, With the right leadership, the GOP could sweep the field in 2010, 2012.

Truthfully, perhaps they need to. I can imagine NY23 Republicans getting a clue and giving Dede about 10% of the vote. For the Conservatives, now it is all in and the Washington insiders, the handlers and politico's the same, to the mattresses to prove they control the party.

The blood will flow. Someone will win and someone will lose. If Hoffman wins, there will be a collective pant load released in the Halls of Washington by both parties, if Dede wins, a sigh of relief that RINO is the way to go, and the Chicago way is fine.. because we know in Chicago, D or R its just the same, its the bosses who decide. If the Democrat wins, well, on to round two but the Republican party will be history at the end of that fight gone the way of the Whig and the Dodo.

I was going to say do it but then I started thinking. I wonder what the acctg and record keeping requirements are for donations. I'm wondering if it would be better if we all sent them $.01. Instead of starving the beast, maybe we could run it into the ground.

Unfortunately, I believe that a lot of them do get it. They were very uncomfortable when the party was ascendant because the Beautiful People didn’t invite them to their soirees and did not smilingly condescent to them. They do not want to allow conservatives and traditional Americans to put them in that position again. They would rather lose individual elections while showing the folks they recognize as the natural Ruling Class that they are not threatening, in fact are actually nice guys, and would dress up cocktail parties by their presence while allowing the Beautiful People to illustrate their Inclusiveness and Tolerance.

isn’t it time we name names. NRCC and RNC don’t mean anything. We don’t know how we will fix it, if we don’t know who to replace and how

Send a dollar. Then they have to send you a receipt which costs them more than a dollar.
