INCLUSION OF COST OF EMPLOYER-SPONSORED HEALTH COVERAGE ON W–2

The definition of taxable income is revised to include "the aggregate cost of applicable employer-sponsored coverage". . .

"The amendments made by this section shall apply to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2009."

Here it comes! Wait until a person with family coverage from his employer finds out about this. This will be a big bite out of the paycheck for millions of families. Lots of hope and change, indeed. LOL. I thought this was supposed to hit people making at least $250,000. The Sh*tstorm is just around the corner, and along with mandates under penalty, well, like the Chinese saying. We are living in interesting times.

I have an idea for these tax and spend “progressives”.

They should tax the value of all “benefits” from health care coverage. After all, those are payments made on behalf of an individual.

Just think. Grandma needs a hip replacement. It costs $20k after all the adjustments. Grandma just got $20k worth of services. She needs to pay taxes on that “income”!!!!

I have 54 employees. I call them to assemble and told them that they could leave but any cost that was assessed by Obama for health insurace would be deducted from their salary. I offered only the amount they currently made. I said that if you currently make $32,000 per year and I am penalized $8000 a year for not having health care insurance ( which I will never do —ever) That their salary would drop to $24,000 per year and they would pay the penalty. They seemed to understand and went back to work.
