Norway is arguably the most anti-American and anti-Israel country in western Europe, more even than France. Obama is being rewarded in advance for selling out Israel.

The Nobel Committee will probably give the award to ostammer every year of his term to show their omnipresent support for pansies that appease terrorists.

I bet Hillary is just SEETHING. Bubba, too.

My guess is that Ahmanutjob of Iran, Odingleberry of Kenya, and ‘Castro’ of Venezuela nominated him. Oh, and Mugabe, too.

The Weather Underground terrorist Ayers probably nominated him. After all, he does everything else for him.

Is this what the permanent Office of Olympics Committee money paid for?

Well, I guess any organization can jump the shark.

The Nobel Committee’s time is now.

Who nominated the turd, I wonder? It had to have been months ago, maybe even before inauguration.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
On Fox and Friends they said he would have to be nominated by Feb. 1 - so 2 weeks into the term.

Ya’ think he was arrogant and narcissistic before? Just imagine what he’ll be like now. Man, he’ll have those styrofoam Greek columns velcroed to his back from here on out.

This award is just one more thing he has in common with Jimmy Carter.

Fox and FRiends once interviewed one of the people who was nominated for this years Nobel.

He almost singlehandedly build 100's of school in Pakistan so that girls could attend school.

Ah well he is in good company, with Pope John Paul 2 who never received one either and he saved millions from communism.

I am absolutely stunned... I knew the Nobel committee was a bunch of pantywaist wussy’s but this is beyond even that. Seriously, WHAT THE F**K HAS THIS IDIOT EVEN ACCOMPLISHED??????????????? He fooled enough people into voting for him and signed the stimulus. That is the sum total of his accomplishments. The whole world is batshit f**king crazy. We are doomed...

Gonna be pretty tough to send more troops to Afghanistan after winning the ‘peace’ prize. Maybe he can just go show his medal to the Taliban and they will become peaceful...

He was probably stalling on sending troops until this announcement was made.

It has come down to this—a teleprompter won a Nobel Prize.

That might not be a bad thing. Pride goeth before a fall. At this rate it's going to be one spectacular fall.

Clearly the Committee believes that by awarding its imprimatur to Obama it can further Obama's policies which can most accurately be described as the betrayal of Israel, the betrayal of Poland and Czech Republic, and the neutering of the United States.

Although the committee would not see it this way, their naïve one world view holds that pain is caused not by evil by resistance to it.

“...and certainly 9 months seems like an entirely too short period to make an informed decision if they are going to make the decision on general principles rather than specific actions.”

Myth: Candidates can be nominated until the last minute.

The nomination deadline is eight months before the announcement, with a strictly enforced deadline of Feb. 1.

If you read the Nobel Committee's press release, you'll see that he's been awarded because he's not George Bush. This award was given as a backhanded insult to George Bush.

BDS gone global.

Laughable, as the world is moving on, and Bush is happily in retirement.

Someone who could not even vote to protect a newborn infant from being left to die without medical treatment was awarded this prize.

A most excellent point, one that bears repeating--far and wide.
