Well here’s your takeaway from Don Imus‘ first day on Fox Business Network – a lengthy interview with his new colleague in the Fox family, Glenn Beck. (Here’s more on the debut.)
The seven minute interview that took place in studio during the 7amET hour of Imus’ FBN show never got serious, but the jovial atmosphere did allow Imus to put Beck on the hot seat. Specifically, about whether Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh hate him.
The beginning of the interview was largely based around Imus and Beck reflecting at their time as alcoholics, and how they turned their lives around. Also, we know the last drink each had: Imus preferred vodka, while Beck was going with Jack Daniel’s. Each joked about their respective friends warning them about it ‘not ending well’ between the two friends who disagree politically. “If I’m found dead in the street it’s either Van Jones or Don Imus,” said Beck.

Wow, never knew that! I know that Mark Levin and Glenn Beck has not been on the best speaking terms.

Rush has called in to Beck's TV show to compliment him.
He was just joking with Beck. This is taken WAY out of context.
Imus got it wrong. It’s Levin that hates Beck. (don’t know why) I can’t remember hearing Rush or Hannity talk badly about Beck - I don’t listen to Hannity that often though.
Rush has been on Beck’s FNC show, but Hannity and Levin are pretty clear about where they stand re: Beck.
I watched it. Imus was kidding. Beck laughed.
It would not hurt my feelings for FOX to dump Imus, Geraldo, and Juan Williams...not one bit.
Rush doesn't hate any of them. He is the 800lbs gorilla in the room. He doesn't need to waste any time on cat fights with wanna bees,.

blech. The only good thing about it is that the competitive stations will have better ratings.
I think Rush might have already fired back today concerning this. Rush made a comment about the ‘RATS coming down on him and his “compadres in talk radio.” I’ve never heard him say that before. It might be just me but I think Rush sees Glenn Beck as his wingman.
I disagree. Keep'em. We need a reminder that there are in fact idiots, racists, and socialists in our midst.
Levin has been bashing Glenn, big time.
I always liked Beck, but if this keeps up I may want Beck to run for president, with Palin LOL.
Hannity is at the top of my neo-con GWB/McCain bootlicker phony list.
Hannity pushed Colmes off their show when he learned that Beck was getting his own program. No way Hannity’s ego was going to allow a new guy to get his own Fox News program while he was stuck sharing his valuable talking time with a partner. Now that Beck’s ratings are slamming Hannity’s, Hannity is no doubt even more apoplectic.
