A group affiliated with al Qaeda could strike the United States in the near future.
That’s grim assessment of FBI Director Robert Mueller, who spoke this week at a meeting of the Senate Homeland Security Committee.
Mueller’s remarks represent the first time a senior law enforcement or intelligence official has stated on the record that the al-Shabaab, a Muslim terrorist group with ties to al Qaeda, is no longer content to strike within the East African nation of Somalia.
During a hearing, Director Robert Mueller was asked if members of al-Shabaab, which translates as "mujahadeen youth," would send American recruits back to the U.S. to launch attacks.
"I would think that we have seen some information that the leaders would like to undertake operations outside of Somalia," Mueller told the Committee.
Mueller said he is "absolutely" concerned that hundreds of Somalis, who have become naturalized American citizens, will return to their homeland for terrorist training in order to launch attacks on U.S. Soil.
A U.S. counterterrorism official confirmed to FOX News and other press officials that al-Shabaab has exploded since 2006, and has become a full-fledged Al Qaeda affiliate.

It is bad in Minnesota we moved out of there late last year it has the largest population of Somali’s and they are nothing but TROUBLE! Even their leader omar jamal is in the country illegally and they will do nothing about it saying they do not have a functioning government and he is a loud mouthed a hole who is always on the news complaining about how unfair things are and their people are by and large problems treating women poorly, gangs but then they have keith ellison and the other loons who go out of their way to please these people many like I said illegally in the country.

I have to guess that these people are in our country to begin with either because our leaders are hopelessly stupid, OR they don’t give a rats patoot about American citizens and the USA. Take your pick. Either way we are so screwed.
Whenever I hear anyone say, “Our diversity is our strength!” I ask them...what does that mean? In what way does it make us stronger? I’m tired of people just regurgitating slogans.

Somehow I missed that story. The press seems bound and determined to keep us uninformed/misinformed.
Franken’s voters get exactly what they deserved. The sorry thing is that it will be mostly those who voted against him who will be in the line of fire.
