I tend to disagree...the only religion will be worship of the state.

My uncle is a bishop of a major metropolitan city here in the U.S., and I can’t believe most of my family still follow that faggot Robinson.

Disgusting.

I'd be wondering why Rome is not calling out these obvious wolves.

Unfortunately, a depressingly high percentage of Catholic (and other) clergy confuse Karl Marx for Jesus of Nazareth.

Gene Robinson the HOMO CINO (Christian in Name Only) is sure one to be talking about Satan’s work. Then again, him and Satan are probably on pretty good terms...

V. Gene Robinson, the Episcopal bishop of New Hampshire, wrote in this newspaper on Friday that the "Christian" response to the health care debate...

It's always surprising that they have non-Christians providing a "Christian" response to things...earlier Obama, now Robinson.

And with the Roman Catholics at least, this sort of nonsense doesn’t seem to stop at the walls of the Vatican. There’s been some amazing stuff published out of there.

V. Gene Robinson

Robinson is widely known for being the first openly gay, non-celibate priest to be ordained a bishop in a major Christian denomination believing in the historic episcopate

In 2009 he was honored by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) with the Stephen F. Kolzak Media Award.

Rev. John B. McCormack, then the top church official handling the complaints for Cardinal Bernard F. Law, insisted on shielding the identities of accused priests from unsuspecting parishioners - despite the repeated pleas of his top aide who fielded complaints about more than 100 priests.

McCormack, now bishop of the Manchester, N.H., diocese, said he knew the decision ran counter to a recommendation by the National Conference of Catholic Bishops that the church be forthright with parishioners. He also said the decision was made after Sister Catherine E. Mulkerrin, his top aide and the church official who had the most contact with victims, told him he should inform parishioners about accused priests - parishioners who might have children in harm’s way.

McCormack, who was in charge of drafting Law’s 1993 policy for managing complaints of clergy abuse of minors, conceded in deposition testimony that the decision he and other church officials made to keep the identities of accused priests secret ran counter to guidelines of the bishops’ confrence, which urged officials to ‘’deal as openly as possible with the members of the community.’’

I don’t think I’ll take advice from two of the most corrupt and immoral clergy in history. They are about as arrogant as the ‘ONE’ by trying to lecture anyone on morals.

“The irony in this is that socialism and religion have the same moral code ... altruism.:

No, religion and socialism DON’T have the same moral code. They have some similar moral imperatives, but fundamentally, they’re very wide apart morally. Some “Catholics” are willing to tolerate abortion because they think the Bible says to help the poor (which it does). BUT, the Bible does not teach taking from your neighbor to give to the poor; that’s still stealing. It says we’re supposed to be charitable with OUR OWN money. Charity at the end of an IRS gun isn’t charity.

Please point out to me where Christ said cover up child molestation by fellow priests and please become an openly gay priest. I don't think either of these jerks can lecture anyone about anything especially morals and what others should support.

Bishop John McCormack has been criticized for the way he handled abusive priests while he was a top official in the Boston Archdiocese.

Robinson would empower the state to deny us the choice that God Himself grants us.

And he wants the state to give us a choice that God Himself forbids us. (He has already convinced his church to condone his sin.) At least he's consistent. He always puts his own desires before God's.

“Selfish Gene” Robinson is a heretic and a schismatic, not a Christian. I do not know about the other guy but he does belong to a real Church, unlike “Selfish Gene”.

The Soros/obama/Pelosi/Reid “health care” proposals are not really about health, or even about redistribution of wealth. They are about death (for unborn and many sick babies, and for seniors who will be denied care) and about dictatorship and social control. As such, there is NOTHING Christian about these proposals. They are proposals of antichrist.

Moreover, at least with respect to health, building a costly, gargantuan monstrosity to regulate our healthcare system is unnecessary. Several well-respected physicians and public health administrators have proposed ways of reforming health care, based on actual experience, that will control costs, improve quality, and SAVE LIVES, all without rationing or raising taxes.

And several well-respected health economists have proposed more market-based systems for reforming the health insurance system that will lower costs to employers, families and individuals and free doctors from the bane of high malpractice insurance rates. If one then wants to help the uninsured, a simple subsidy program to enable them to buy private insurance is all that will be necessary.

These kinds of proposals are infinitely better than anything now being considered in Congress to reform and improve our health care system. Of course, if our government is interested in death and dictatorship, these proposals will not do it for them.

Altruism … “The doctrine that the welfare of society is the proper goal of an individual’s actions.”

Socialism … “Any of various theories or systems of the ownership and operation of the means of production and distribution by society or the community rather than by private individuals, with all members of society or the community sharing in the work and the products.”.
