US President Barack Obama speaks during a statement in the Rose Garden of the White House in Washington, DC. Obama said his health care reform was key to ensuring growth of small businesses in the United States and their ability to create new jobs. (AFP/Mandel Ngan)
I think we would better laying Congre$$ and Obama off myself. That would stimulate me to no end. :-)
here come more taxes...they squandered tax dollars on everything but real job creation and we are about to get screwed again with subsidized green jobs
Isn’t BRIBERY against the law?
But I forgot, 0bama is “above” the law.
The Only help Govt can give people, is to STOP trying to help them.
1. Renew the Bush tax cuts to encourage businesses to expand include the tax reform package an elimination of the capital gains tax. "Pay for it" by a 2 year freeze on Goverment spending and a reimposition on the 1995 "Pay as you go" Congressional budget rules with none of the current loopholes
2. Offer a $1500 per new employee tax credit to business to cover the hiring and training costs.
3. Kill cap and trade, health care reform and all the other boodgoggle anti capitalism bills currently being considered in the Congress. Have 0 vow to veto any legislation that will cost real current US jobs with vague promises about imaginary Green job in the future.
4. Pass the Developing Americas Resources act to remove all bottlenecks and obstacles in Government regulation that is blocking development all US energy resources and commit the US Government to exploiting any and all US energy sources to end our dependency on imported energy.
What all this current govt intervention in the Economy is doing is causing business, and capital, to hunker down in a bunker mentality wondering what new Govt boondoggle they are going to be told to pay for.
The problem is lack of jobs, the solution is to incentives the 10s of thousands of businesses around the country to hire a few people and create new jobs by eliminating Govt regulations that prevent us from doing things to develop our own energy resources.
These are long term solution that also provides immediate short term gains.
How many more times will this moron be allowed to experiment in a job he is simply unfit to hold?
In the real world, he would have been fired a long time ago... as well as the idiots in the democratic run congress.
A complete ~full on depression~ would have been easier to deal with, and done less harm than these criminals... at least we could work on rebuilding.
IMPEACH THE BASTARD NOW.
p.s. are they mother freaking insane?
ObamaCare = RomneyCare
Just change of the name of the ****ing country to the Soviet States of America and be done with it.
We’re spending trillions we don’t have, and not one person in the MSM will say so.
A Stimulus II will ultimately create lots more new jobless claims. Someone has to pay for it - businesses are trimmed to the gills - they’ll close and/or full-time jobs will become part-time (with NO benefits). The pretty package with the fancy ribbon and bow that promisies more unemployment benefits and healthcare will contain an asp that delivers a fatal bite.
Raise taxes on them?
The only way to “stimulate job creation” is to stimulate businesses that employ people.
Just throwing money into social programs and writing checks to the unemployed won’t stimulate much anything. That’s like treating the symptoms without curing the disease.
Tax cuts usually help, but with the amount of spending going on, tax cuts would be difficult due to the already massive deficit.
What they need to do is cut the hell out of spending, and cut taxes by 50% of the amount they cut spending by.
Repeal the stimulus, because it didn’t work, and then repeal TARP. They should also kill the ‘crap & tax’ legislation where it stands. Give up control of the auto companies and let them go bankrupt, and do the same for the big banks that should have been allowed to fail.
There are so many things that could be done to turn he economy around, but they can’t bring themselves to do what must be done, because the people in control are blinded by ideology and addicted to the special interest money that comes from those that profit from big government and the federal bureaucracy.
Only problem, their eyes are looking in all the wrong directions.
These people are too stupid or too insane to ever achieve functional adulthood.....
--extending enhanced unemployment-insurance benefits beyond Dec. 31, when they are set to expire.
--extending a tax credit for laid-off workers who buy health insurance through the COBRA program. That program allows workers to keep their company's health insurance plan for 18 months after they leave their job, if they pay the premiums.
--extending a tax credit for first-time home buyers. This credit also is set to expire soon.
In other words, we're going to keep doing the stuff we're already doing. Oh, that will help.
Or maybe we could just hire the ginsu knives people to run the gov’t.
