Obama Defends Health Agenda In Sunday TV Blitz (heavily scripted and repetitive)
NPR - All Things Considered ^ | 20 September 2009 | Guy Raz

Posted on 09/20/2009 5:38:46 PM PDT by Stultis

President Obama took his health care message to Sunday morning TV today, appearing on five different networks. Host Guy Raz recaps the major points the president hit — again and again — in his interviews.

Go to the link to listen to the audio. "All Things Considered" (National Public Radio) sequentially links soundbites from all of Obama's Sunday show appearances. He keeps saying the same (trite, superficial and/or whiney) things over and over on every show.

The fact that it was so carefully crafted and heavily rehearsed has to make his mediocre, carping performance today all the more pathetic.

He also managed to screw the MSM toadies across the board. Since he said the same boring stuff, using almost exactly the same words, on every show, nobody got any "news". The fact that none of his interviewers where able to elicite unique responses also makes them look pathetic.

By all means Bummer should keep this up.

Nothing like the President being on 5 major stations to really hit their ratings and make them LOW. I wonder what happened? Does anyone care? I wish the POST OFFICE did a better job serving the public, it might make me believe that they could be in charge of health...NO WAY.

Huh. Hasn't Rush been doing this for, like, the last 10 years, to show that the media is just the stenographic pool for the power left in DC?

The Post Office would be almost infinitely preferable to any of the new bureaucracies that Bummer wants to visit upon us.

Obama Defends Health Agenda In Sunday TV Blitz (heavily scripted and repetitive)

But...but...It isn't an agenda for health, it's an agenda of redistribution of wealth.

Am I the only one to see this?

It goes well beyond a redistribution of wealth. This is all about control. When these b@stards keep preaching nothing starts until 2013, the info grab which requires our banks to provide info to the IRS, etc. starts as early as Jan 01, 2010.

Pretty obvious he can not get it through Congress so he bypass and goes straight to the people.

As Rush says—it’s about total control.

All this was inspired by the principle--which is quite true in itself--that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods

Mein Kampf

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

It’s like Joe Wilson and “the lie” comment. The big news they’ll be talking about for the next two weeks was that he didn’t appear on Fox.

Agreed...that is why once they have control of your money and can do things such as “fine” you automatically by deducting funds from your financial accounts at will, they win!!!

KJV
Ezekiel 20:27-29

27 Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me.

28 For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.

29 Then I said unto them, What is the high place whereunto ye go? And the name whereof is called Bamah unto this day.

This was brilliant. I had a hard time believing I was listening to NPR.

I know! Imagine me. I was driving when I heard this and almost went off the road.

My first thought was, "they must not realize the impression this is giving". But then they must have. It's pretty much the point of the -- very short -- piece.

I'm wondering now if they didn't originally have a much longer version, but cut it back because it was too embarrassing?
