Dear Jo,
Today, instead of working on the important issues facing our nation, the House of Representatives voted on a partisan “resolution of disapproval” of me. As reported, this is the first time in its history that the House has reprimanded a member for speaking out during a presidential speech in the chamber to a joint session of Congress.
By their actions today the Democratic leadership has proven once again that they would rather play political games on the taxpayer’s dime than work to create jobs or reform health care.
I was able to make a short speech on the House Floor before the official vote. I hope you will watch this video, and make a donation to help me fight back against the liberal Democrats and continue to stand for truth.
The supporters of a government takeover of health care are using my very vocal opposition as an excuse to muzzle the American people who have been outspoken against their risky plan.
Despite this unprecedented partisan assault, I will not stop fighting. I will continue to speak the truth.

House members who advocate such “guidelines” obviously figured out which ones would be okay based on what they’d called Republicans in the past, and of course, on what they wouldnt’ want to be said of the rapist criminal Bill Clinton when he held the office.

This is what they call “jumping the shark.” It is more like jumping a killer whale. The radical left makes a fool out of itself whenever in power. Their petty meanness is like fingernails on the chalkboard. A lot of people who voted for them had no idea that Marxists really don’t respect the bill of rights and they look at the Patriot Act as “progress.”
This whole idea of a PC “speech code”, with banned words and phrases for members of the US House of Representatives, sounds like it’s from an Orwell novel. I hope that the “speech code” will be torn up when the GOP regains the majority at the start of 2011.
I hope we can toss out a lot of things in 2011.
