Police are calling the Monday morning attack of a Belleville West High School student on a school bus racially motivated.
Two black juvenile suspects are in custody after they allegedly beat a white student on a bus heading to Belleville West, police and school officials said.

I tried to find the video on YouTube but instead discovered something very disturbing.
Search YouTube for “Bus Attack” and see who are the majority of perpetrators of such attacks and who are the victims.
The girls were no better when I was growing up. I defended one of my friends from one of those wolfpacks. We all got school suspension but it was worth it. And we were never bothered again.
This racial wilding has happened on Baltimore city busses.
It also claimed the life of a local 14 yr old teen in our community who was assaulted while bike riding and died from the punches. One of the 15 yr old perps had 15 prior disciplinary cites form the local hight school and had unprovoked assaulted another 14 yr old white kid months earlier. His sentence? Probation, and write a book report.
This from a police official...who, after further reflection and consideration (and a browbeating from the school officials) will change his assessment of the situation and will agree that the two black students were grievously wronged and will drop all allegations.
And everybody lived happily ever after...except for a few that had difficulty breathing from their positions of having their heads buried in the sand or up their asses.
Well, that would be nice. But in my experience, schools have no idea how to handle bullying. Sure, they talk about it a lot. It's a popular theme "This is a bully free zone". But bus drivers and teachers do nothing when it happens. Statements come out later about how something will be done, but nothing happens.
But perhaps this time will be different.

That sounds like racism to me. I mean, the statistics show you a clear picture of crime breakdown by race, and incarceration by race ... there’s a pretty obvious pattern ... but those statistics are racist, so we must ignore them!
People who haven’t experienced these types of attacks don’t understand that they are not backyard boys will be boys brawls. They are relentless attacks that often lead to serious bodily injury and or death. I’ll never forget the sound of a small white boy’s head being perpetually slammed against an oak drafting table by a black thug in the 7th grade. The racism and hatred is deeply rooted however nobody has the fortitude to talk about it or call it out.
This type of violence happening over and over again kind of makes you rethink the wisdom of integration solely for the sake of integration.
Sometimes diversity is not all that it cracks up to be.

This “Lord of the Flies” bullying, racism and hatred is only perpetguated by entire school staffs of affirmative action principals and adminstrators who talk tough at the PTO meetings but then and treat the haters as victims who just need more money and privileges to succeed.
This juvenile sociopathy needs removal from the mainstream and deep and intensive psychotherapy - but that would be admitting where the problem lies. NOT with the white kids being beat up, or their “racist” culture.
That’s why in middle school now, my kids are in private school and homeschool.
I saw the same thing in the military. Almost never did blacks fight one on one with a white guy. Always had 2 or 3 to one odds in their favor.
Sadly most whites would not step in to help another white guy.
I have no issue with integrated schools as long as it isn’t forced, i.e. bussing kids from one side of the town to another. That is what happened to me. Incidentally I fought hard to go to my neighborhood school to avoid being sent to a zoo however most of the students from said zoo school where bussed to my neighborhood school which no longer made it a neighborhood school. Thus it too was a zoo.
My children will not have to endure this nonsense since we will be raising them in a very rural school system. I expect any arguing or fighting to be over John Deere tractors verses International Harvester/Case tractors.

What can the bus driver do though? If he touches the kids then well, he’s got trouble.

Actually, no studies show any benefits from "diversity", and there is an actual study showing definite societal detriment from "diversity".
I think more and more folks are seeing the writing on the wall, and are less and less afraid of being labeled a “racist” for standing up for what is right.
You can’t talk a wild POS back into a cage. Force is all they understand regardless of their age, sex, race or religion.

Seems every afternoon while waiting for the bus in the school parking lot.. they would take turns walking by to hit him in the head with a notebook..... strolling away as if nothing happened. When he dared to object...he was jumped.
We did prosecute......but that's a badge of honor for these kids. Since it was close to the end of the school year... we bought some property in the country and moved away. Best decision I ever made.
If we hold our schools accountable for the violence that occurs on their property and watch, won't they be forced to hold the students accountable for their individual behavior?
There are schools that are soooooooo horrible it would be better for a child to be completely illiterate and innumerate than to even step foot in them. (I **seriously** mean it!)
Even our nation's worst prisons have a better social environment and are safer than some of our government schools.
Could the parent or parents of this young man done a worse job? Well...That would be very hard to do. Almost any efforts by the parents of this victim would be safer and ( like have better academic results) that ever attending this snake pit ( misnamed “school”).
Oh...By the way...Is this the wonderful socialization that homeschoolers are missing? ( Just wondering.)
Finally, there will be posters who will relate how punching a bully in the nose taught them how to stick up for themselves. Sorry, but why are adults awarded millions in court, and children told that the same behavior it is good for them?
That's why the cameras are on the bus now. They are for "after the fact" whodunit legal wrangling. About the only thing the driver is able to do without risk of getting fired is call the police and wait on the side of the road for them to arrive and board the bus.

The parents need to call the police and press charges - don’t mess around with the school system. This is on tape. Throw the thugs off the bus and into a cell where they belong.

Belleville is actually a very nice, racially mixed city. It is NOTHING like EStL.

The son of a friend was attacked by a gang of blacks in the hall of his high school. They broke his femur. As you point out, this isn't backyard “boys with be boys” stuff. This is an attack that can kill or permanently maim.
The young man was in the schools gifted and talented program, and for the most part, this group had their own classes. These high IQ students did, though, need to interact with the other students for gym, lunch, assemblies..etc.
The parents prosecuted. The black kids were declared guilty and ordered to pay expenses which they never did. And...These black boys were transfered to another school where I am certain they terrorized the other unsuspecting students and teachers.
My friend and her husband re-enrolled their son in the **same** school! Unbelievable! It had a gifted and talented program, you see, and they thought it might improve their son's chances for admission to an Ivy League school. ( It didn't.)
