For the third time is less than 6 days, a video showing ACORN workers giving advice to a pimp and a prostitute was released by the good folks over at BigGovernment.com. This video features New York City ACORN workers giving advice on how to hide prostitution profits in a tin can buried in the back yard, how to lie when applying for a housing loan and ways to shelter the money for tax purposes.
The New Zealand Herald actually put out a story on the third video before CNN did. (The last article on CNN.com about ACORN was four days ago.) Not only does New Zealand make a great setting for Middle Earth, they also know when to call a scandal a scandal, unlike some of our more prominent news organizations here in the United States.

Simply Unbelievable!
(CNN you may as well close up shop)
ACNNORN!
Criminal citizen Rangel, please call your office. And take your ho’s with you.
And sponsoring the situation room tonite...ACORN.
I read their coverage today of Gibbs’ comment that Obama didn’t think race was an issue with the tea parties. I sat their slack-jawed as I realized they didn’t even tell us WHY he had to make that comment. Not a single one of the 500 commenters below the article realized that Maureen Dowd had written that piece (of sh$%) in the New York Times claiming we are all racists. Disgusting.
Amazing that we get better news from across the pond than from our domestic outlets.
What’s unbelievable is the number of people who think that CNN is ‘mainstream’ and fair and that Fox is a right wing network that makes stuff up.
GOOD JOB
This is a great picture. I walked by that CNN bus twice. It was closed up tight with not a reporter or cameraman in sight. Parking a bus is what CNN must call “covering” a story.
As Beck said tonight, it’s not media bias we should be concerned about but that the media lies, particularly NBC and the NYT.

The fact that New Zealand reports what our liberal media does not is not new.
My in-laws were in New Zealand on holiday in fall 1992 after Bill Clinton was elected. Down there the Kiwi media was openly documenting how biased our media was toward BJ Clinton, with facts. None of that information was available up here -- there was no Internet at the time, and talk radio was only starting to get traction.
My wife and I went to NZ two years later, in 1994, and were pleased to see that Rush Limbaugh was already being carried on cable TV in NZ. Not a bad bunch, those Kiwis.
Sometimes, when the fetching Mrs. Tom H wonders why the good ole USA is going to h-ll in a handbasket, she muses that we should emigrate there.
To any Kiwis reading this, consider that the highest of compliments.
NZ has been on my short list of places to immigrate to. This pushes NZ to the top of the list.
Proud Kiwi here, I suspect our media also has a liberal slant but nowhere near as bad as it seems in the US.
CNN = Pravda. Only now, they don’t have a monopoly.
