NASA has released this terrible image of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, as captured by Frank Culbertson—the commander of the International Space Station at the time. His words that day:
Our prayers and thoughts go out to all the people there, and everywhere else.
Click on the image to zoom in. You can see downtown Manhattan—south, where the towers were—, with the East River and Brooklyn on the top, and the Hudson and New Jersey on the bottom.
In the anniversary of the attack, let's take a few minutes to reflect on the stupidity of all violence, and think about those who fell that day, and everyone affected by these attacks and any other coward terrorist act in the world. [NASA]
“Bring me the head of Osama Bin Laden” Yes. I still want that head. On a Crusader’s pike. I want his followers blown to smithereens. I want all who sympathize with his cause made to leave my country — and all Western countries. I want everyone in the world to recognize Islam for the evil that it is and that it brings.
Statements like this reveal the true idiocy of some people. Righteous violence rationally applied is all that separates us from anarchy.

I’ll never forget that on 9/11 I was on IGN.com and banned, yes banned, for saying I wanted to grease the treads of American tanks with the fat of Islamic terrorists and those that harbored them.
They never got another dime from me and never will again. Funny, they’re owned by Newscorp now too. So much for their “right wing extremist” media properties.
