THE TEA PARTY EXPRESS WILL BE AT BOTH LOCATIONS!!!
The Tea Party Express - Hartford Rally and Bridgeport Rally - will highlight some of the worst offenders in Congress who have voted for higher spending, higher taxes, and government intervention in the lives of American families and businesses. These Members of Congress have infringed upon the freedom of the individual in this great nation, and it's time for us to say: "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH".
The Tea Party Express Hartford Rally and Bridgeport Rally will feature national leaders in the anti-tax, conservative, tea party movement, along with musical performances, including the following:
Lew Uhler(Chairman, National Tax Limitation Committee PAC),
Deborah Johns & Mark Williams (Vice Chairpersons, Our Country Deserves Better PAC),
Amy Kremer(National Coordinator, Tea Party Patriots),
- Lloyd Marcus (performing the "American Tea Party Anthem"), and Revue (performing "A Bailout Song").
In addition to both national and local speakers, and musical entertainment, there will be information tables, and other family-friendly activities. Stay tuned to www.thehartfordteapartypatriots.com for more information about the Hartford rally, and go to www.teapartyexpress.org for more information about the national tour.
THE 09.12.09 MARCH ON WASHINGTON April 15th 2009 was an historic day for those who love freedom. Hundreds of thousands of Americans came out to protest the massive government spending that is burdening our country with huge debt and future tax increases. People came out of their homes and into the streets to stand together and say Enough! But the media would have you believe that only a few people showed up, and that those who did were not representative of the American people. Of course we know the truth, and we know that April 15th 2009 was just the beginning of something BIG!
The champions of big government are now working to pass a new national energy tax, government-run health care, and other policies & programs that will cripple our lives and our livelihoods even further. We must keep the pressure on our elected officials as they vote on how much more of our money they will spend, and how much more of our money they will confiscate. Many of you have been wondering "what's next?" for the tea party movement... well, THIS IS IT!
It's time to take the tea party movement directly to Washington, DC. Please join thousands of Americans from across the country on September 12th to deliver a message to our elected officials: "WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!" We have had enough of the out-of-control spending, the bailouts, the growth of big government, and the soaring deficits. And we reject the future tax increases that will be imposed on us and our children to pay for all of this. For more information, please go to:

If you are anywhere near the area, GO! My wife and I met the Express at one of their stops (New Leonex, IL) and we keep thinking back and talking about the event. Like many/most there, the Tea Parties are the first time we have ever been drawn to protest tyranny.
Glad to see you folks are having a great time and large turnouts. Fantastic!
May the Force be with you.
Go TEA PARTY!!!! GO!!!!!!!!
I take it you think highly of Ann... ;^)
Bumperoo!

BY THE RISIN’ OF THE MOON!
And come, tell me Sean O’Farrell, tell me why you hurry so?
“Hush a bhuachaill, hush and listen”, and his cheeks were all aglow,
“I bear orders from the captain:- get you ready quick and soon
For the pikes must be together by the rising of the moon”
By the rising of the moon, by the rising of the moon,
For the pikes must be together at the rising of the moon
“And come tell me Sean O’Farrell where the gath’rin is to be?”
“In the old spot by the river, quite well known to you and me.
One more word for signal token:- whistle out the marchin’ tune,
With your pike upon your shoulder, at the rising of the moon.”
At the rising of the moon, at the rising of the moon
With your pike upon your shoulder, at the rising of the moon.
Out from many a mud wall cabin eyes were watching through the night,
Many a manly heart was beatin,’ for the blessed morning light.
Murmurs ran along the valleys to the banshee’s lonely croon
And a thousand pikes were flashing by the rising of the moon.
By the rising of the moon, by the rising of the moon.
And a thousand pikes were flashing by the rising of the moon.
All along that singing river that black mass of men was seen,
High above their shining weapons flew their own beloved green.
“Death to every foe and traitor! Whistle out the marching tune.”
And hurrah my boys for freedom; ‘tis the rising of the moon”.
Tis the rising of the moon, tis the rising of the moon
And hurrah my boys for freedom; ‘Tis the rising of the moon”.
Just checked the weather as it’s nasty today here in Philly. It will be 79! in D.C. tomorrow. God Bless all of you who are speaking for those of us who can’t be there. Hope we are flooded with photos!
