Officials with the controversial community organizing group ACORN were secretly videotaped offering to assist two individuals posing as a pimp and a prostitute, encouraging them to lie to the IRS and how to claim underage girls from South America as dependents.
In the videotape on BigGovernment.com, made on July 24, James O'Keefe, a 25-year-old independent filmmaker, posed as a pimp with a 20-year-old woman named "Kenya" who posed as a prostitute while visiting ACORN's office in Baltimore. The couple told ACORN staffers they wanted to secure housing where the woman could continue to maintain a prostitution business.
On the videotape, "Kenya" can be seen telling an ACORN staffer that she earns roughly $8,000 a month. The ACORN employee then suggests to "Kenya" that ACORN could submit a tax return for 2008 showing that she made $9,600 for the entire year — instead of $96,000 — and that ACORN would charge "Kenya" $50 instead of the usual $150 fee for preparing her taxes.
The ACORN staffer can also be seen suggesting that the prostitute list her occupation as a freelance "performing artist."
The "pimp" later says that he and "Kenya" plan to bring up to 13 "very young" girls from El Salvador to work as prostitutes. Although an ACORN staffer points out their plans are illegal, she also suggests that the girls can be claimed as dependents.
The staffer goes on to suggest that as many as three of the underage girls can be listed as dependents at the home, but a "flag" will be raised if as many as 13 are listed.
A second ACORN employee can be heard on the audiotape suggesting that the couple join... for an annual cost of $120 prior to attending one of its first-time homebuyer seminars, which are underwritten with taxpayer funds.

The sad thing is, Obama was elected largely by those “signed up” by Acorn - so one has to wonder, besides his eligibility issues, was he even elected by the popular vote?
So, Huggy Bear was really a Recreational Services Coordinator and could have claimed all of his Personal Recreational Specialists as dependants, eh?

You’re right, nothing will happen with this. This is a two bit story with two bit players doing things we would expect from ACORN operatives. If they aren’t going to prosecute a case of voter intimidation, and they appoint tax cheats to cabinet positions, why in the world does anyone care about some pimps and hos cheating on their taxes through ACORN?
I hope not. They will pass it when we aren't watching.

If this is Beck’s big thing..I don’t think it will resonate the way he wants it to. A couple of Acorn people in trouble with the law is pretty ordinary now. Sad but true. Also, the Florida Acorn org. are the ones that notified the authorities about the registration fraud, so they pre-empted trouble there. I heard an Acorn official statement about the prostitution story..they said these same film makers tried this samed routine in other Acorn offices and failed..so they will blame that one particular office as wrong, but not the rest of Acorn..the usual defense.
You want relivance...China could be funding Acorn...likely are, they are below the law. What is this I hear about you wanting China to get our missles?
This is different. We're talking child sex trafficking, tax evasion, prostitution... There's quite a bit there so far.
They also have it all on video, so there's no wiggling around it.
I once had a sister in law who worked with La Raza and they are advising legals and illegals to do illegal things every day. They conspire to file fraudulent tax returns and encourage illegal voter registration. In short..a hispanic or black..legal or illegal can get free govt subsidized advise on how to break more of our laws.
Go to Acorn’s site on the net and just try to sign up as a member. They are screening people in person for membership. You can’t do it online.

At first glance, I wondered if this story will make a big difference - because ACORN will likely say it’s an isolated incident, and that the rest of their employees are squeaky clean.
But ANYTHING that exposes the sleazy tactics of ACORN will cause rightful disgust among law abiding Americans, and no story is too small when it shows the truth.
So it remains to be seen what the effect will be, especially in Beck’s deft hands and the legal ramifications. ACORN needs to be called on every ounce of corruption.
