House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers Jr. has backed off his plan to investigate wrongdoing by the liberal activist group ACORN, saying “powers that be” put the kibosh on the idea.

If some "right wing" group had done this - covered for a pimp working out how to deal with child sex slave ( count them as "dependents") it would have led all network news shows... and been on the front page of the New York Times - for a month. Now? crickets...
