Joe Scarborough said this morning that the Dems used to “hiss” during President Bush’s speeches. They never apologized.

"This evening I let my emotions get the best of me," Wilson said in his statement. "While I disagree with the president's statement, my comments were inappropriate and regrettable. I extend sincere apologies to the president for this lack of civility."

Wilson didn't apologize for his words, just for the outburst....I consider that proper. The apology keeps him from being branded a nutjob and used as a liberal whipping boy, while busting the illegal benefits debate wide open!

When Tom Harkin, pip squeak D-Iowa, insulted the Chief Justice of the US during Clintons impeachment, (called out “we are not jurist”) the media did not demand that he apologize. Why should Wilson?

And its variant, "What has been said cannot be unsaid."

Well done, Joe. Had you called a press conference to speak your views, the presstitutes would have ignored you. This way you were heard, as well you should have been. You speak for many of us!

If you’re going to have to take it back, next time throw roses or underwear or your motel key. Not your word.

he did a bonehead thing and is, perhaps, a bonehead - there’s a time and a place and this wasn’t it. He has become the news and a sad caricature with which to misconstrue our genuine grievances.

In the Australian House of Representatives last month, opposition member Julia Gillard interrupted a speech by the minister of health thusly: "I move that that sniveling grub over there be not further heard.''

For that, the good woman was ordered removed from the House, if only for a day. She might have escaped that little time-out if she had responded to the speaker's demand for an apology with something other than "If I have offended grubs, I withdraw unconditionally.''

You want representation in DC?

You want to get rid of the f-—ing idiots like Mcain?

Then ACTIVELY and LOUDLY support the man who stood up and yelled LIAR! to the marxist revolutionary who currently infests the office of president.

There was a time when fist fights were commonplace on the floor of congress and duels settled arguments. Screw forced civility and a misguided sense of decorum, the marxists thrive because some among us feel its “improper” to stand up an yell.. “YOU LIE!”. heh....

To those who are upset that he apologized... Let him know that you would have done the same had you been there! Dont accept the appology and write / call the other critters admonishing them for not standing up with him!

I saw a spark of hope in that outburst, and that spark is a sign of the future if we have the f—king balls to see this through to the end. We CAN be free of the socialist nightmare the fedgov has become. If we continue to escalate and radicalize, we WILL be free of the petty wannabe tyrants and dictators of both parties. We just need to cultivate more outbursts and more aggression from the folks on our side.

Winston Churchill was once savaged on the floor of the House of Commons by a junior member of the opposition party. He sat there silently as he was called every name in the book, much to the dismay of junior member's own leadership. Afterwards, that junior member was taken aside by his leadership, informed that is actions were inappropriate and, indeed, were in violation of the House of Commons rules of conduct. He was ordered to go apologize to Churchill in person.

So the junion member went to Churchills house where he was greeted by Churchill's butler. He told the servant what he was there for, and the butler went off to find the great man himself. When he located him, Churchill was in the bathroom. When informed of the visitor and his purpose, Churchill said, "Tell him I'm in the privy and can only take one sh*t at a time."

Which is one reason why when people compare current U.S. polticians, from either party, to Churchill I just have to laugh.
