The bigger deal the Democrat leadership, the MSM, and ersatz Republicans such as McCain make of this, the more this short two word retort by Wilson will drown out Holy O's speech. The speech itself will soon be forgotten, replaced by "You lie!" in the public mind.
So keep up the outrage, liberal goons. Keep it up! More! More!

Get used to it McCain and like minded Republicans. Move over! Palin, Wilson and the American Public are comin’ through!

I’m sorry you’re a liar, Mr. President.

The media and the Left think this will backfire on Republicans but what it did was highlight what this speech truly was A BIG LIE.
Joe stepped up to the plate. Who will be next???

Tomorrow morning Senate "Maverick" Arlen McCain will pick up his NYT and WaPo, have a cup of herbal tea and just revel in his well-earned complimentary ink.
Perhaps his campaign slogan "Country First" might cross his mind.
Nah, that was just a little gag, like that "Foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution" yarn. Everyone knows that by now.
"McCain First"?
That's more like it, n'est ce pas?

Wasn’t Obaaama to be allowed to get by with calling mcLames female running mate a liar?

He is Pathetic

House Democratic Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) called Wilson's outburst "embarrassing," while McCain said it was "totally disrespectful" and that there was "no place for it in that setting or any other." The truth can sometimes be embarrassing, Congressman Clyburn. As for McCain, he's beneath the contempt of every responsible conservative.

No way he should apologize. I am going to send his campaign money immediately.
Here is the poster I plan on carrying Saturday in Washington, D.C.:

I just sent a terse email to McCain at the Senate Web site. He and all the other Republicans that were there should be the ones apologizing - to us.
Can’t get through to Wilson’s House of Reps Web site.

Just read the article. Seems Wilson buckled after all and did apologize. He shouldn't have done so. He and McCain should have taken the opportunity to state why Obama was lying to the people. I see no reason to be civil to a liar.
While I disagree with the presidents statement, my comments were inappropriate and regrettable. I extend sincere apologies to the president for this lack of civility.

McCain is the one who needs to apologize to us for his constant adulation for Obama. Not to mention his asskissing.
He should be ashamed of his actions, singing "mea culpa" every chance he has!
