The recent viral prairie fire over White House "Green Jobs Czar" VAN JONES being discovered (by your's truly) on a video made in Berkeley, CA, made earlier this year calling Republicans a less-than-flattering A-word obscenity, and also questioning "How's The Capitalism Going For You This Year!?" is the tip of the iceberg.
I've notated various points in the Czar's controversial, hour-long mid-February presentation, and where these public statements by Jones occured in the video, for further research and dissemination purposes.
TITLE: "Damaging Video of Communist "Green Czar" VAN JONES Found (Feb. Speech in Berkeley)" (FR: 1 Sept. 2009)
Many more wonderful people out there became involved, dug deeper, found this and other quotes (particularly the explosive A-word incident I had earlier overlooked), and made it go 100% viral/worldwide, so now that it has been shown or discussed by Beck, Hannity, YouTube, The Hill, Real Clear Politics, Fox News, and many more, even eliciting an "apology" from the czar himself. (individual kudos below)
Here is what else is on the tape (link is to the original online version at Berkeley):
13:40 – Van ironically says people will be able to see his speech in YouTube (a premonition?), to the laughter of leftists there. (You got THAT right, Van!)
14:50 – Van claims Berkeley, where he “heart is”, was right to oppose the US liberation of Iraq, “turning the US flag into a war flag, tearing up the Constitution and flushing it down the toilet.”
15:27 – Van uses communist terminology, referring to “our Comrades”, fighting with him against Iraq war—in a very familiar, matter-of-fact way.
16:34 – Van says “America is back (with Obama), FOR THE FIRST TIME”. Inference is that America has done nothing great except in electing Obama, all else before that meant nothing. (This is the Michele Obama line as Freepers will recall) and goes on to praise “we, anarchists, punk rockers, Maoists, everybody, did all we could for democracy in 2004 in voting for Kerry.”
18:29 – Van says “we put an end to one-party authoritarian rule in this country” in 2006. He says we in Berkeley “rescued bourgeois democracy from authoritarianism, and we did it “without firing a shot.”
19:40 – Van says Barack Obama saw the values of Berkeley and reverberated them and ran for President. Van emphasized “Barack HUSSEIN Obama”, correcting himself after first saying “Barack Obama”.
21:40 – Van refers to the GOP losing in 2008 as having had “flushed all the crap out of the White House.”
24:40 – “Green Jobs” is the way to seize momentum on other issue by the Left. To “reinvent the economy” everyday.
25:21 – Van talks here about “the next big assaults”, in his political tactics.
26:30 – Takes a swipe at Rush Limbaugh
27:00 – Van talks of playing on the vulnerable feeling of many people currently in the USA to get socialist-type Green Jobs agenda through.
28:10 – Van sez the power center is not in D.C., it is in Berkeley and the Bay Area.
29:00 – Spouts Rahm Emmanuel-type rhetoric here about being able to take advantage of crises or breakdowns, to further ones cause at the opportune time.
33:44 – Van reminisces over leftist radical days in the streets being tear-gassed and beat up.
34:25 – Van says SUV’s destroy the earth.
34:35 – Van talks down to audience about wind turbine energy, and wants to turn GM into a wind turbine energy company.
39:00 – He proposes to put 150,000 coal miners out of work through a program of mass, forced retirements; or, sarcastically, “they can go work at Wallmart, computers, or wherever.”
41:50 – “It’s our turn”. (eerily said here a total of SEVEN TIMES)
43:30 – Van says we will stand with Barack Obama when we can, but be 2 or 3 steps out ahead of him when we cannot. (Show’s ‘em who’s boss).
44:00 – Standing leftist ovation.
48:20 – “I spend more time in D.C. these days.” (This in mid February)
49:00 – Airheaded liberal asks how we can talk down to the unwashed masses who are ignorant in this country and not with the program, and insults average people. Jones corrects her and suggests a more subtle strategy to win over the masses and take power.
53:00 – Van gets away with a Black joke that not many non-African Americans could.
55:00 – Van shows how the American people will have to be slowly cultivated and indoctrinated, and cannot go quickly with these things. (very diabolical delivery here)
57:00 – Supports public takeover of utilities.
59:00 – Big, elitist jokes about how to spend $9 BILLION! Of the TAXPAYERS MONEY on these green schemes. (shocking, arrogant, power-hungry attitude displayed here), i.e. “to get this money out the door.”
1:02:00 – Van refers to various “sistah’s”, who have gotten power jobs with Obama, now that they have taken over. (Melody Barns, Lisa Jackson) “The fight is on”. Discusses how to buy off the American People with green stimulus money. Plugs Moveon.org to supervise how money is spent. Refers several times to “Obama’s Billions.”
1:05 – Van shows how middle America can be bought off with Obama Billions with green job infrastructure and establish a “permanent governing majority, brothers”, for a new direction.
1:07:10 – Republicans are assholes. (will crowd guffaw and applause).
1:08:10 – Van likens Barack Obama, jokingly, to Jesus Christ (and to the laughs of the crowd).
1:08 – Passionately, asserts uni-partisanship, go it alone. Assails bi-partisanship.
1:10:00 – Van threatens to use 13 million Obama supporters nationwide, unleashed on 2 or 3 Senators who oppose them, for starters.
1:11:05 – “How’s that capitalism working out for you this year?” (mockingly said three times to an arrogant Marxist-type student’s question)
1:12:00 – Van sarcastically supports big government, and talks anti-big oil and anti-coal (to loud applause).
1:14:30 – Van supports doing away with national defense funds and giving this to education. (to applause)
1:15:34 – Van cracks anti-police joke rant (“If you were black like me, you’d get beat up”) (same chip on the shoulder as the now-famous foul-mouthed Harvard professor, apparently…)
1:15:50 –Van gets very radical sounding in his speech pattern and body gestures near the end (The rabble-rousing community organizer begins to emerge).
1:17:05 (Close) – Van ends, saying, we are only in “THIS PHASE” of “THE STRUGGLE”. (Ends with Berkeley's finest standing ovation)

A group of people or a person called “Defend Glen” on YouTube also gets credit here. That is what really sent it into an orbital trajectory.
I was told that “Stu”, the producer for Glen Beck, sat down and watched the whole BAV. ;-)
....and people wonder why he was selected to be a Czar, it was precisely because he fits into the Jokers agenda...meanwhile the story will be buried along side the discount table mats you can buy at Joe’s flea market advertizement on page 34 of the NYT.

This is the danger of allowing the “czar” approach as Zer0 does.
The people brought in are outside the vetting that takes places within the various departments of the executive branch.
Van Jones would have never made it if he had undergone congressional scrutiny.
And Van's team will lose BIG TIME.
Ohhh believe me, over at EOP they have flak jackets on and are deep in the bunker in fetal position, helmuts on. That is why we have to keep it up until somebody is fired or resigns after becoming too much of a political liability. It will send an extremely potent message, tactically as well as psychologically. They think Van Jones, like The Messiah himself, cannot be touched because of his race and therefore is safely ensconsed, they think they can just yell "racist!" (which they WILL DO, just watch) when push comes to shove as their get out of jail card; we will handsomely disabuse them of this notion and accordingly they then will also have less cards in their back pocket on this score with respect to The Messiah himself and his power.
This is not a racial thing. Jones should not be fired because he is an African-American. But he should NOT not be fired because is IS an African-American. Which is the white guilt card they are currently playing and which helped get them in the White House in the first place, in part. To see that evaporating out in the country, and so early into the Administration, will cause them great concern. I believe all things being equal, we must continue to focus like a laser beam on his Jones individual. It is a key pressure point. For who he is, for what he represents.

Start contacting your state reps about this “czar” thing. I have. Congressmen and women are working on an “anti-czar” bill.
They need to hear from us.
We don’t need x-cons, radicals, revolutionaries and racists in unelected positions of power.
I think this info should be given to the Republicans...especially Snowe..to show what they are agreeing to if they don’t try to do something about it...and also the Democrats..surely there are some that would have a problem with it..even if only in terms of them worrying about reelection.
Is there anything in the law that prevents Obama from appointing these czars?

What this guy's big issue is security risk-side of things. He would have never gotten a federal job up until about 1993, when the Clinton Administration waived rules barring communists or former communists from serving in top positions. Still, IMHO, a Congressional staffer working for a conservative GOP Member, can really get into this and stir the s, from the Hill, something fierce. I think Glen Beck and talk radio and blog can only do so much, at some point the GOP and moderate/conservative Democrats in office have to step in.
This man claims that “white” farmers in America were poisoning their own land and migrant workers. I could not believe my ears. Completely sick, racist, and viciously divisive - I am tired of Obama’s hypocrisy of moving beyond race when all he has done has been to surround himself by psycho racists for the last 20 years. I cannot believe he has sponsored this nut-job unless of course he believes what Van Jones is saying.
If the WH were smart about damage control rather than just plain arrogant about EVERYTHING, this Commie clown would have been fired the first day this was covered, which I think was weeks ago by Beck. But now they have let it fester and explode - this should not be allowed to rest until this racist radical is gone.

This is similar to, but way worse than Rev. Wright stuff. Yet Obama wasn’t really harmed by it. There are still way too many people who voted for him who believe he is moderate and that it’s Pelosi and Reid who are the real leftists and Obama is struggling to keep them in check.

Some quotes from this guy at Democrat town hall meetings would be good. Then ask the Democrat if he/she agrees with them.

And here’s the real danger. If the figurehead President fails to promote (or is perceived as failing to promote), the “revolution”, some lefty will do physical harm to the President. And it will be blamed on the conservatives (look at the lame attempt at the Democratic Party offices in Denver), and Obama would be made a martyr.

Van Jones is on the Glen Beck show right now (via tape from Breitbart). 11:13 a.m. Eastern. It is really really damning. In his own words. This new tape is really rad.
No I thought of Russian Premier Khrushchev, who in 1962 said,
"We can't expect the American people to jump from capitalism to Communism but we can assist their leaders by giving them small amounts of Socialism until they awaken one day to find out they have Communism."
He also said that Communism would take over America "without firing a shot."
