We’ve only watched Conan three times since he took over The Tonight Show. The last two viewings were last week; he made lame and unfunny Pres. Bush and Sarah Palin jokes. Even the audience barely laughed. I guess we won’t see any Obama jokes, will we? LAME.

Is she a conservative? Her father is only conservative on a few issues. Even if HE were it doesn’t mean a daughter would hold the same positions.
Token Republican maybe with, they hope, buzz to follow given her name. Beyond that I have no idea where she stands on any issue.

I predict Jimmy Fallon’s show will be in the tank. It’s beyond awful. Watch 30 minutes of it some time. You can’t believe how bad it is until you see it.
Conan has yet to even achieve parity with his former show. His numbers have got to be way below Leno, who made sure he jumped on the O wagon many, many months ago.
Good job NBC. Keep attacking conservatives. Keep producing lousy shows.

If I was Jenna, I would refuse to work for NBC after their constant trashing of George W Bush.
However Jenna Bush is an apolitical person despite being the daughter of Dubya. Last Summer, Laura Bush and Jenna were on Larry King. Jenna was asked who she prefered Obama or McCain. Jenna admitted she wasn’t paying attention to the Presidential race. If Jenna works for NBC on a long term basis, Jenna might morph into a liberal. Just see MSNBC’s token “conservative”, Joe Scarborough.

You make the mistake of thinking she’s a conservative. NBC hired her for a sole purpose.
Diane Sawyer started as a personal assistant to former President Nixon, helping him write his memoirs. When she first went to work for ABC it was thought that she would be a conservative, and at first she displayed some evidence that she leaned that way. But she was never an ideologue and a short time at ABC had her following the liberal party line. I fear that this will happen to Jenna.
They always are so desperate to lure decent people to give them the sham appearance of legitimacy when the scum of NBC and Today have time and again slandered and demeaned and attacked her father and family.
I’ve watched The Tonight Show less than ten times since Carson left. I wonder if he would have had the wherewithal to throw some zingers at Zero during his monologues.

I was indifferent as I read the article and comments, until I read your perspective. Now I am totally thrilled at Jenna’s opportunity and loving the indirect diss at Megan McCain.
Personally, I could never work or live around so many liberals, but I am more conservative than her Dad and she is even less so. Actually she seems pretty apolitical, which means when she decides on an issue will be emotion based i.e. liberal.

I don’t know how she voted, and neither do you. If she, a 20-something, did indeed vote for Obama, then she was in the deluded majority.

Is he really pushing the Bush and Palin jokes? Obama has given more material for comedians to use in 8 months than Bush did over 8 years.
Fallon has absolutely ZERO conversational skills...that is his main problem. They all need to get off the safe wagon of not making fun of Obama.
