“the greatest legislator of our time,”

Such a crock. Just keeps getting piled higher and deeper.

I think I did see this. Was this at the sign of peace part? I can’t remember.

Also why did the one camera shot never show the Holy Communion line I was wondering if non-catholics recieved.

As there are reports of the ‘FAR RIGHT’ blogging about no Papal response...

I suppose this is an answer as to whether 0bama went to Holy Communion at the Kennedy Funeral Mass.

This is NOT a defense of Teddy. Just one respone as to why he received a Catholic burial....and all those blessings.

According to church teachings, the blessings were for his immortal soul........not approval of the man and his deeds.

The church does not judge the man.......the church teaches that the judgement of the man is left to God.

A Catholic ceremony for the deceased is the church interceding for the soul of the deceased......it’s one of the benefits of being a Catholic that the church will intercede for the soul since the deceased person cannot.

The church teaches that a soul consigned to the fires of hell forever is the worst fate to befall a person.

That is why they intercede........even for the worst sinners.

There is general agreement Mary Jo died of asphyxiation rather than drowning. Kennedy claimed he never knew how he got out. There is also the theory there was a second passenger, Rosemary Keough, and that she and Kennedy exited the car either through a door or window.

The significance to me, however, is that he had to close the door, effectively causing her death. Anyone else would be doing hard time. Melissa Lafsky said on the Huffington Post, “Who knows — maybe [Mary Jo Kopechne]’d feel it was worth it.” We need to address the destruction of this country by taking back congress....Otherwise, these loons will win..

The church does not judge the man.....

Then why does the church have excommunications? Can you excommunicate without a judgment call?

Excommunications (rare and a very grave occurrences) are for people who no longer want the succor of the church and indicate this with various words and deeds....in effect, denouncing their membership in the church.

Now Teddy did not do this-—he kept going to church, attended Mass, wrote to the the Pope asking for forgiveness, affirmed his Catholicity.........he did all the things a Catholic in good standing would do. He never reounced the church, nor did he ever say things like he was right and the church was wrong.

As far as the temporal church was concerned, Teddy was entitled to a Catholic burial.

What happens in the hereafter........that’s between him and God.

Now if a sinner, at the hour of death, asked God to save him-—God would do so.
