New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and former high-ranking members of his administration won't be criminally charged in a yearlong federal investigation into pay-to-play allegations involving one of the Democratic governor's large political donors, someone familiar with the case said.

Is anyone surprised? Anyone?
Yet, CIA operatives WILL be prosecuted under this Department of Justice, and if possible, a reach-back against members of the Bush Administration will also be pursued. The only criminal act possible under the new set of rules is to lose an election and be forced from office, at which point indictments will be handed down.
But only if related some way to a Republican office holder.
PING
The Democrats live under different laws than everyone else. Ted Kennedy was a philanderer, how many times did the press go after him for it? He even killed a woman he was taking to a one-night stand and yet he is sainted by the media while Gov Sanford is being hounded by calls to resign.
Different laws for different people.
Different president, different rules. Their corruption doesn’t count.
I hope people see what is really happening here. This is a carbon copy of how most of the tyrannical governments of the world gain their takeovers.I hope the CIA comes up with evidence that zero is ineligible to hold office. If anyone can do it, they can. I hope zero and holder have opened the can of worms that will eat them.
Hmmmmm
Hey . . .
the lawmakers are on the team.
the bureaucrats are on the team.
the judges are on the team.
tidy little global village they’ve created . . . these traitors literally from hell.
A federal grand jury began an investigation in 2008 into a possible pay-to-play scheme in which lucrative work on state bond deals went to a Richardson donor. The federal probe derailed Richardson's appointment as commerce secretary in President Barack Obama's administration.

CDR chief executive David Rubin and his firm contributed $110,000 to Richardson political committees in 2003-2005. The largest of those contributions, $75,000, was made less than a week before CDR was selected in June 2004 by the Finance Authority to handle the reinvestment of idle bond proceeds. The firm earned $443,000 in fees for its reinvestment work.
CDR received more than $1 million in fees in May 2004 for serving as a financial adviser on interest rate swaps for the transportation bond issues and as the manager of bond proceeds held in escrow.
No!!!!
The democrats think they can get away with every crime, now that they are in complete control. And the MSM will cover their backs!
Perhaps, just perhaps, some patriotic soul in one of these bureaus recognizes real danger and goes to the WSJ with some dirt about the new faction.
I can dream, can’t I?
He’ll just be another Czar next week. Meanwhile the CIA...
The Democrats are corrupt, and they are corrupting this nation. Can you imagine if Bush had done something like this with a prominent Republican?
This goes beyond partisan politics, the Democrats are corrupt, period.
“Lumpy” skates, Holder masturbates!
A new Fox Opinion Poll shows that 71% of us want them to give back the $700 billion unspent stimulus money. They are tanking worse now than Bush did during the Katrina debacle. And they can't blame it on the republicans except for the turncoats in Maine.
The Obama administration continues to break barriers. Richardson is the first Hispanic White House official, present or former, for whom the Justice Department has formally ordered corruption charges dropped.
Another first for Obama!
