Your original comment was so loosely stated it could have been taken several different ways.
But let’s clear up a things. This IS a pandemic. “Pandemic” simply means the virus can be found worldwide. That’s a simple fact. No quote marks necessary.
Exempting the drug companies is not some sort of scam. It is the trade off they get for producing something not fully tested at the government’s request. If there is some sort of scam it would be on the government’s part, not the drug companies’.
There is always a risk associated with vaccines. It is up to the individual to decide if the risk associated with not getting the vaccine is higher than than the risk of getting the vaccine. And comparing the vaccine of the 1970s to that of the 2000s is a big stretch. It’s like comparing computers from the two eras. To be fair, however, there is always the possibility that something can go wrong. Which takes us back to the comparative risk issue.
I seriously doubt that we will be forced to get a flu shot. Having been forced to the original Swine Flu shot when I served in the Army I know how it feels. On the other hand, I would not rule out anything when it comes to ZerObama.
Sure it will. Preventing the flu isn't the objective. Sticking you with untested vaccine mixed with dangerous adjuvants e.g. squalene is the objective. Couple that with a healthcare system destroyed by Obamacare and you have something only a funeral director could love.

I’ve run those same numbers. I can’t figure out how they’re mixing their math, either. I’ve run a couple other numbers trying to figure things out, and have no luck.
Why isn’t anyone noting that the report also stated, “the 2009-H1N1 virus does not thus far seem to show the virulence associated with the devastating pandemic of 1918-19; moreover, medical science now has many potent tools at our disposal to mitigate an influenza pandemic in ways that were not possible ninety years ago.”?
Or that the death rate, WHO’s calculations, is less than 1%, and that assumes that every single person who was infected is diagnosed; in reality, many people are most likely staying home and having chicken noodle soup.
Even WHO says most people recover without medical attention. And that’s with no vaccine.
NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) + Vitamin C is what you want, google it plus flu ... I take it every day. NAC is an amino acid.
They are excluding anyone 65 or over unless they have one of the “underlying conditions.” Be nice to get rid of them all, I guess.

The vaccine will be available to health professionals who care for those with the flu. Those 65 and over who have underlying conditions, like AIDS, asthma, diabetes, etc. And those under 65.
The reason being that those 65 and over have seemed to have more immunity to H1N1, possibly because of previous flu outbreaks. I believe this is from statistical evidence only, so it could be due to some other factor--for instance, older people not having as much contact with those who are getting H1N1.

When only a handful of people had it there was wall to wall panic coverage. Then we hear nothing for months. Now suddently 90,000 are going to die. Doesn’t pass the smell test.
I’m not buying it. But if it does happen, is it OK to hope that the 90,000 are all liberals?
