This week AARP will launch the next phase of its Health Action Now campaign with a multimillion-dollar national advertising and grassroots push to ensure every American has access to a choice of quality, affordable coverage. AARP's advertising will run on national and local television and radio, in print publications and online. AARP activists will also be in action in every state to ensure every member of Congress knows the 50-plus community wants action on health care reform now.
Go to the AARP site. Doesn't this look like an endorsement of Obamacare?
the President said, "The AARP would not be endorsing a bill if it was undermining Medicare."
Like most “unions” the liberal leadership does not reflect the membership as a whole.
Democrats are gathering TENS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS to push this thing through, buying opinion. And get ready for TONS of Push-polling to support the messaging.
K Street Dems are already getting filthy rich off of it.
I thought I heard him say that, but I wasn’t sure.
Those seniors in Dallas were spot-on when they bristled at being lied to. AARP is a far left organization, and they full on support Obama’s socialization of medicine.
I heard one of their ads , of all places, on the Rush Limbaugh show. They blatantly lied and then accused others of distorting the truth. In addition to an urge to smash the radio I thought somebody should sue for false advertising. It borders on treason if not already crossing that line!
I demand that AARP lower the cost of their Medi-Gap coverage by 50%
Somebody should let Rush know. I think he has some control over what ads air during his show.
It would be great if he’d come back from a commercial break and rebut the AARP ad. He can take their money and then render their message impotent.
Let’s make sure their money is wasted, a total loss, it’s patriotic thing to do.
And we are supposed to buy “Obama Claim of AARP Endorsement ‘Inaccurate’?”

Any wonder why their membership is decreasing?
Look for United World, a Mutual of Omaha subsidiary -— it is much cheaper.
United Health Care SUCKS, but they also suck up to AARP!
NEW AARP CHIEF GAVE BIG TO OBAMA (The Hill 3-12-09)
By Jeffrey Young
Incoming AARP CEO A. Barry Rand contributed $8,900 to President Obama’s campaign committees, federal records show.
Rand, a retired senior executive at Xerox Corp., Avis Group and Equitant Inc. and the current chairman of Howard University’s board of trustees, gave the maximum $4,600 to Obama’s election campaign and an additional $4,300 to the Obama Victory Fund, a joint fundraising entity of Obama and the Democratic National Committee.
Altogether, Rand has given $15,900 to Democratic campaign committees since 1995, according to searches of Federal Election Commission databases dating back to 1990 that are maintained by CQ Money Line and the Center for Responsive Politics.
As an organization, the AARP strenuously insists on its nonpartisan identity . . .
