Obama: U.S. economy, health care and war should have precluded senseless arrest of Gates.

From this interview with ABC News...........

The president said he understands the sergeant who arrested Gates is an "outstanding police officer." But he added that with all that's going on in the country with health care and the economy and the wars abroad, "it doesn't make sense to arrest a guy in his own home if he's not causing a serious disturbance."

Of course it makes sense for a “Pres__ent” to involve himself in a local law enforcement matter.

This guy is a real piece of work

I read the excerpt out loud for the benefit of my wife sitting nearby. She said “WHAT AN IDIOT!”

This is somewhat off subject, but I had to add this in there: Sgt Crowly was quoted by Boston’s WBZ as saying:

“I support the president of the United States 110 percent,” . However, when I heard Crowly actually speak he said “I support he president to a point”.

So, why did WBZ say “110 percent”?

You are right. “The police officer should have been arresting and taking charge of the US economy, health care and war, precluding the senseless arrest of gates. Gates had nothing to do with all this, he wasnt even in the country. Dont bogart that thing give it to me. What he did was stupid and I should get him fired. Tomorrow.”

Stonered.

Didn't read the police report. Didn't read the health care bill.

And he's cross because he gave up Wednesday Party Night.

Being president is keeping him from being out on a street corner being a race baiter.

Al Sharpton with a Harvard patina.

A very thin, fragile patina.

He’s just making it worse. He should just shut up. Now he’s making even less sense than he did last night, when he said “I don’t know anything about it but. . . “ and then proceeded to pass judgment. What a MORON!

So, if a guy kills 14 people, he just needs to go to his own home to avoid arrest?

"What an idiot. "

And he says it isn't about him.

It's ALL about him.

He thinks we all should be going about our daily lives thinking about all the important things he has to deal with.

He wanted the job, because in his naive "stupidity", to use his term, he thought he could do it better than anyone else.

Well he's got the job, and every day it's becoming clear to more and more people that George Bush was a genius at the job in comparison to him.

...it doesn't make sense to arrest a guy in his own home if he's not causing a serious disturbance."

He wasn't IN his home when the arrest was initiated, and he WAS causing a disturbance. It is the President who is making no sense.
