NEW YORK POST - FBI ARRESTS - ONLY REPUBLICANS DENOTED, BUT NO DEMOCRATS IDENTIFIED
NEW YORK POST ^ | July 23, 2009 | POST STAFF REPORT

Posted on 07/23/2009 11:05:51 AM PDT by slickfree

Why has the New York Post omitted the party affiliation of New Jersey politicians that were arrested today?

All the remainder Democrats were not indicated (excess of seven), and NONE indicated of the Rabbis, and many many more are missing whether Democrats or Republicans.

However, TWO Republicans were conveniently indicated ... something is ROTTEN with Post Staff Writers.

Not ethically correct.
Nor fair and objective.
Really biased

Thats not reporting!
Its misrepresentation for propaganda.

And the new issue of NewsWeek gives every historical event in the life of Ted Kennedy but does not mention Mary Jo.

You need to complain. Do they allow comments? Point it out in comments and write to the editor too. The NY Post is still a mile better than the NY Times though on bias.

NOT surprised at all ... just FOR THE RECORD of an obvious bias reporting situation ... AGAIN!

Check out the paragraph, listing all arrested, and/or raided, and see that only TWO have party affiliation indicated.

VERY CONSPICUOUS!

YES, I noticed the "With Post Wire Services" at the end of this article.

Would you believe that this was "compiled" from Wire Services ...

and that they have input to this article, and could have given readers indications of ALL party affiliates? ...

or at lease, leave out the biased reporting of these two Republicans?

The posts in the comments section beneath the story are surely taking them to task for not indicating the party affiliation of the Democrats.

It may be that the non-reporters are simply assuming that when corruption is being discussed party affiliation is not needed unless the miscreant is a Republican.

It is the media version of affirmative action, it has been going on for nearly 20 years +

Whenever a crime occurs and the press makes no mention of the persons race, rest assured it was a black who did it. The exceptions are if it is political or more recently if it was terrorist related. If it is political and they don't mention which party they belong to, rest assured it was a democrat, if it was a terrorist attack and they don't mention they nationality or religion of the perp. rest assured he was an Muslim.

LOL. Yes, that’s possible. Corruption is standard MO for Democrats.

To be fair to the NY Post, it’s so rare that Republicans get arrested for corruption, that it’s newsworthy to name them. We expect it of the Democrats which is not newsworthy.

a more desirable story link:

The arrests in the corruption probe included Peter Cammarano III, the newly elected Democratic mayor of Hoboken; Dennis Elwell, mayor of Secaucus, also a Democrat; state Assemblyman Daniel Van Pelt, a Republican; and Democrat Leona Beldini, the deputy mayor of Jersey City.

GOOD POINT! ... regarding The NY Post usually report NJ corruption, and
leave out the political affiliation ... because it is ALWAYS Democrats.
I get it!
However, if not innocent, then these reporter contributors to this story
should be FIRED!

Start with The New York Post ...
and then let everyone know we DO NOT ALLOW THIS even among friends?

I detest ALL liberal print media,
and MOST liberal main stream television and BLOG medias!

I didn’t notice any mention of their political party affiliations. Is it just that they omitted the names?
