Socialism is just Feudalism of the New Dark Ages

by Fred Jake

As I read an article on the Reformation, I was struck by the way the Muslim in the White House and his socialist buddies in congress are trying to return us back to the feudal days, where everything including the people are owned by the government. As good serfs, we are to just shut up and follow the rules and regulations set in place by today's church (which is the church of environmentalism ie..global warming and other earth worshiping entities), the nobles (Democrat politicians treated like royalty), and the monarch (Obama and any other Democrat President the media loves). Then if the government or the new church needs more money, we have the media playing the part of Johann-Tetzel, as the lapdog for the administration running around demanding we give more or we will all go to environmentalism hell.

In order to get us where they can completely control us they will need a new “Dark Age”. Do you remember the “Dark Ages' from your history class? Well, those centuries were called the “Dark Ages” because it was a time when not much was accomplished. You could say it was as if someone had turned off the lights, because there was no new achievements in science, art, or litterateur. The economy was so bad that men would literally be walking around naked because they were so poor. For protection and sustenance people looked to those who could provide for their basic needs because they could not do it for themselves. Well, we now have a situation in America where our enlightened leaders have all but destroyed the great job producing economy that we had. And as if things were not bad enough, they are ready to pass the cap and trade legislation, begin a value added tax , and they are working overtime to give us a nationalized health care system. Soon we will again be living in the “Dark Ages” that they need to keep us under control.

Once we are there, they will need to continue the fear to keep us in check, and that fear will be what has already worked for them. The fear of rich capitalists and private entrepreneurs. They will continue to use the public education system to promote their religion of earth worship as their John Tetsels in the media help to spread their propaganda. These media yes men will convince the masses that our beloved monarch and his nobles only want what is best for us and that wee need to let them have more of our money to do it. We will be constantly reminded of how the evil capitalists only want to destroy the planet, starve people and force children to work in sweat shops. So to protect us from the horribly mean entrepreneurs they will ensure every business is unionized and that the owner does not make exuberant profits off the backs of the hard working serfs.

Then to make sure all the serfs do not have time to think about their loss of freedom and misery, they will just continue using the same mode of anesthesia the Romans used, amusement to entertainment us. Hollywood, and sports heroes will continue to be allowed their million dollar paydays as long as they keep amusing the public so they won't realize how miserable they really are. As the years pass by, anyone who has not sold their estates to the government through inheritance taxes will be demonized and forced off their lands. In return for helping to control the evil capitalists, the union thugs will be given more control of businesses as the owners will be forced to capitulate at the whim of the feudal lords.

Through all this we will see the usual suspects (liberals zombie voters) defending this unholy trinity of church, state, and media. All the while us, the people, slowly become serfs working for our keep and being told that we should be happy with our lot in life. Question is, are you just going to just sit back and let this happen or are you going to start speaking up in your community and take a stand for democracy before it is too late and we are again living in a feudal system of the new “Dark Ages”?

I was reading an article written by OneVike on "How the Renaissance Led to the Reformation" part I and "How the Renaissance Led to the Reformation" part II and I had to get this off my mind before I totally forgot what my head was thinking and how we seem to be destined to repeat history.

Am I the only one who sees the similarity? I tried to link as many sites to my article as I could to bolster my point. Well, I guess I will soon find out if anyone agrees or if I am just blowing smoke.

I came to a similar conclusion from another perspective.

Someone (at YAF) argued that Obama and the Democrats are always advocating “change,” or something “new” and “different.” They never admit to a heritage. In fact they have a heritage, one of failure. All the basic ideas have been tried! When you have an idea that has already failed, you position it as “new” rather than to admit your track record.

We've centralized power in the government since the Pharaoh. Kings, communist leaders, fascist dictatorships, are all variations upon a theme.

The really new, radical idea is freedom, to include free markets. The American state, conceived in liberty, is the new idea. Everything else is a throwback.

I’ve been thinking along EXACTLY the same lines over the past few months, with different but analogous reading materials. I’ve been reading about the Church, Luther/Reformation, monarchs... years from about 900 thru the 1500’s. Quite the battles, political and otherwise, of popes versus Kings, Papal Supremacy versus Royal Supremacy (compare today with the Executive Supremacy).

While there are some good points that you make, the whole matrix of your article is dependent on two myths: one, that the Dark Ages was such as you depicted it (if that is the case, then why were such beautiful creations as Gothic cathedrals created, universities established, and people during the “high” medieval age before the Black Death were as tall as present-day people); and two, the “Reformation” as instituted by Luther, Calvin, and their fellow travelers was needed. While there was a certain corruption of all too many clerics during the late medieval/Renaissance time period, the way those first Protestants went about their business was, in reality, the “zenith” of the first phase of the current secular Revolution against the order of Western civilization/Christendom.

Not exactly. How does special rights for homos fit in? And Abortion rights for women?

You should read OV’s articles I linked that help explane some of your questions. I can only go by what I read that was written by others with more knowledge than I. I was struck by the many similarities from that period and now.

Like I said read his articles and than tell me if you still disagree, OK?

Not everything always works exactly the way it would, but I am basically talking about the way the socialists want to control everything in our lives as did the feudal lords of the middle ages.

Your tagline is great and its a pity that the morons at GOP.com don’t have that stat up on their homepage.

The fall of the Roman Empire led to a thousand years of darkness in the Western world. One can only speculate what such a nightmare would look like today.

You’ve got understand that the people who’ve now gotten their hands on the apparatus of the American State would rather rule in Hell than live in peace with the rest of us. They will happily reduce Western civilization to stinking pile of rubble and corpses as long as they believe that they will be the ones sitting on top of the ruins.

Why? Because a free and prosperous people cannot be enslaved. They must be broken first. Take a good long look at what’s happening now in America. Then turn around and take another look. If what they’re saying doesn’t square with what they’re doing; if it looks like there’s an concerted effort to destroy our once Constitutional Republic and replace it with... something else - then you’re probably right. None of what’s happening today makes any sense unless you look at it that way - and then it makes a perfectly clear and terrible sort of sense, doesn’t it?

Some very good points.

And just like many people in the Middle Ages sold themselves into serfdom (to be taken care of by their overlords), many Americans are willing to trade their freedom and independence for comfort and security.

Bump. I agree, there are definitely many similarities. It is basically the age old humanism. Any society that believes man (without God) has the answers to life's problems, whether it is a king, pharaoh, emperor, or one of the “izms”, Nazism, socialism, communism, etc. will in reality enslave huge masses of humanity to serve the few in power at the top, all in the lie that they will benevolently “take care” of us. A country or group cannot have true liberty outside of humble acknowledgement of God and doing things his way. I pray for reformation in our country.
