"Silent Majority" No More
Entitlement Syndrome ^ | 07/03/2009 | Admin

Posted on 07/03/2009 9:27:49 AM PDT by BigKahuna

We note a growing movement against interfering and over-instrusive government these days, and that movement is embodied by the TEA (”Taxed Enough Already”) Party phenomenon.

A quick check of the national TEA Party movement’s website — and the Tea Party sites in various states — reveals that literally thousands of these parties are going to take place across the United States on July 4th, the 233rd anniversary of the country’s declaration of independence from its colonial masters, the British.

We have to say that this growing movement — which at its heart seeks to rein in out-of-control government spending at all levels — is a healthy and productive thing. Quite often, the means by which a government might seek to control the daily lives of its citizens in often-unwarranted and inappropriate ways is through onerous taxation.

This kind of confiscation of a person’s hard-earned wages, past a certain point, will inevitably lead to the kind of reaction from the citizenry that’s now being observed with increasing frequency and vigor.

Remember the Democrats/Communists are laughing at this.

They will just keep burying the Constitution and subjugating us and when they have enough physical power they will start the Gulags and possibly death camps.

They are truly evil and will not stop unless they are physically stopped.

The wife and I are going to be at a TEA party at our state’s capital tomorrow. Numbers talk loudly. People need to stand up and make their voices heard.

The MSM will not cover these protests to aid the Fuhrer and his cohorts in Congress. It is up to the American people to video and document these protests and get the message out to the entire country.

The least we can do to respect and honor Independence Day is to throw off, once again, the yoke of tyranny.

God Bless Our Troops who are currently in harms way protecting and defending this nation. Tomorrow, Tea Party attendees all across this nation will be doing their part here at home.

VOTE THEM ALL OUT

I believe you are correct as the Leftists never, NEVER think of the consequences of what they are doing, and when they built their vehicle way back when, they did not design into it any ability to brake, only to spin, or dodge.

They need to be run off a very high cliff to the rocks below.

I believe theat the great silent majority are starting to speak out, wishing not to remain silent any longer now that they have seen what Obummer, his administration and the democRATS are doing to the country and its citizens.

This kind of confiscation of a person’s hard-earned wages

This is important but not as important as the confiscation of our freedom.

TEA is a clever acronym for Taxed Enough Already. Great name for the tea parties.

But technically it should be the less clever TTMA — taxed too much already.

NUMBERS COUNT!

It's the only thing politicians (second hand car-salesman) understand or fear most. Large groups of people - of whatever denomination - are very difficult to manipulate for the political machine.

Of All the places that Should be having a MASSIVE Tea Party, Sacramento is NOT. I emailed them beeseaching them to reconsider. I reminded them that there is Power in Numbers. ... to no avail. They recommended that everyone march in their local parades. In a town of 3,000, it somehow doesn’t have the same impact as the 10,000 - 20,000+ who would show up at the state capital. (it doesn’t Matter that no one is ‘home’.. we would still leave a message!)

Now that the Republican party is pretty much defunct as a home to conservatives, maybe we should start thinking about the TEA PARTY. This may be our best and last chance to form a meaningful third party.
New party or not, I will vote for anyone running for Congress that will endorse:
Repealing the 16th, 17th and 25th amendments. And while they are at it maybe taking a hard look at the 19th and 23rd.

I belive the Obama administration has already overreached and guaranteed itself defeat in 2012 (even with the benefit of massive voter fraud). I also believe that all changes enacted by this administration will either never see the light of day or be quickly rolled back by the Republicans after 2012.

They have turned themselves into a joke - and the entire world is laughing. Even Chinese students.

I also believe that the Republicans will be purged, and then make big gains in 2010, and begin to put the brakes on all this craziness. I believe we'll see the next Ronald Reagan in 2012 (personally it is my hope that Rush Limbaugh will run).

The only thing I'm concerned about is that we won't end up sending the bad guys in all this to prison. As I've said before, I won't be happy until the commie traitors are being hunted down with bloodhounds.

“The MSM will not cover these protests”

But being part of one and being able to tell others that they are not alone will help the movement grow. The msm and 0 would have every US citizen feeling as if an increasing government was the only key to salvation instead of relying on the principles that this country was founded. Guess again, libs, we ARE coming after you! One by one, we’ll work our damndest to get you out of office and take our country back. We WERE the silent majority—but no more.

Anybody that attends a TEA party event tomorrow should take as many pictures as they can and get them into the hands of the people who run blogs or websites. The folks who run zombietime (http://zombietime.com) would probably post them, I’m sure. I know I plan on taking a ton of pics at the one I and my wife are attending and forwarding them to as many blogs as I can.

If the people in the MSM won’t do its job, the people are just going to have to do it for them.

For Six months I had to look at my neighbors large Obama yard sign that said "HAD ENOUGH"? Vote OBAMA

It's time for one of those TEA "Taxed Enough Already?" signs for my yard.

I'm tired of taking the high road.

I attended the Sacramento Tea Party on April 15th. It was awesome!!! Thousands were there in protest and it was a huge energy boost knowing that thousands felt the same way we do. The silent majority is angry and it isn’t going to take much to get the tsunami rolling. The “in-your-face, arrogant” Congress will not be able to stop this movement. Vote Them All Out
