I wish that were true.
Our freedoms are being taken away from us almost without a peep.
Fantastic words from the judge. Sad that because of this asshat we have to take off our shoes to get on a plane as if it were a sacred act. I bet the Muslims still laugh at us over that one.
That right there is an admission to committing treason against the US, is it not...* in OPEN COURT @ that! There were 2 witness in the courtroom that heard him make that statement, so why can't someone charge him w/ that, too?
Thanks for posting that. I had not ever seen it before. So it appears there IS a judge worth his salt in America! He is Judge William Young.
Didn’t this happen almost 6 years ago? What’s the point? That in Omamanation words like this are not spoken anymore? I guess. No tub to grout tonight or anything?
Yep. SIX years ago. Kinda late posting this don't you think?
It’s best to have a source link for any post on Free Republic. An email isn’t considered as such usually.
You may not have been aware of this so I’m providing this source link for you....

With me, at least, your post is appreciated. Thanks for sharing. Not everyone on Free Republic will be aware of the good Judge’s words.
TWO OF Britains bombers, [shoebomber] Richard Reid and Muktar Said-Ibrahim, converted or reconverted to Islam in prison. This is a very small number, of course, but as we have just seen, it does not take large numbers of such people to effect a huge change in a countrys atmosphere. And the omens for the emergence of more of them are not good.
First, the number of Muslim prisoners has risen sixfold over the past 15 years. With more than 4,000 such inmates they make up 70 per cent of prisoners from minority groups. They are mostly of Pakistani descent, and the relative absence of people of subcontinental origin who follow other religions is equally striking.
Secondly, Islamic proselytising is prevalent in our [UK]prisons. An outside observer might conclude from the religious literature that he sees there that Britain is more an Islamic than a Christian country. I was often surprised on entering a cell in the prison in which I worked to discover a booklet with a title such as The Basic Teachings of Islam. More often than not, this will be the prisoners first experience of reading abstract principles. ------ "Our prisons are fertile ground for cultivating suicide bombers," http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,1072-1713671,00.html
Make no mistake though. It is yet true that we will bear any burden; pay any price, to preserve our freedoms.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I am afraid though that Americans will **not** bear any burden. They will crumple under the tyranny of self-generated communism like a Big Mac wrapper.
How much spiritual sense the good Judge had is questionable. He wouldn’t be allowed to say this in today’s secularized government, but the root problem with this nut was the fanatic devotion of his soul to the factitious lunatic lunar god Allah. Hatred of American notions of freedom was only a side effect, a consequence. America isn’t all that important either, Yer Honor. (So says the Court to which all will answer once earthly courts pass away.)
Thanks for posting this!
I remember reading this when it was fresh and new. I don’t mind reading it again because some truths are eternal. With this OBAMANATION we now find ourselves in we need such principles even more.
COOL judge!!!
This judge seems to think that terrorists can and should have an open and public trial. He doesn’t seem to think that we need military tribunals.
Here are the judge’s words:
“It is because we prize individual freedom so much that you are here in this beautiful courtroom, so that everyone can see, truly see, that justice is administered fairly, individually, and discretely.....Here in this courtroom and courtrooms all across America , the American people will gather to see that justice, individual justice, justice, not war, individual justice is in fact being done. The very President of the United States through his officers will have to come into courtrooms and lay out evidence on which specific matters can be judged and juries of citizens will gather to sit and judge that evidence democratically, to mold and shape and refine our sense of justice.”
Pretty radical stuff, really. Seems to really believe in open public trials for all. Can’t believe that Reagan appointed him.
