As I’ve long said: Atheists are always on the attack because they have no defenses.
I commend the author for making the distinction between run of the mill atheists and activist atheists. I was a nonbeliever for most of my adult life, and never once fit the atheist stereotype.
The money quote from this article is where the author acknowledges, “We are in a state of primitive stupidity.”
I think any “war” between the views is entirely in the heads of those fighting it.
