US Mideast envoy George Mitchell's first endeavor upon landing in Israel Monday night was to try and lower the volume in the US dispute with Israel over settlement construction. And we should believe Mitchell because??????????
I have heard Mitchell speak in NYC private/social gatherings. He is a total Dimocrat tool, not to be trusted.
How long can they possibly keep rolling out this re-tread?
Wasn't he implicated in as conspiring with John Wilkes Boothe in the assassination of President Lincoln?
This is so transparently "Good Cop/Bad Cop" diplomacy.
“And we should believe Mitchell because??????????”

That was one of those times that one recalls years later exactly where one was when one heard that.

1. Inaccurate quotes are not the problem Mitchel. Accurate quotes certainly are. Obama hasn't been able to shut his mouth of late, without making extremely inflammatory comments.
2. As for nobody wanting an adversarial relationship right now, I suggest you talk to 'the One'. That's either precisely what he wants, or he's an ignorant fool. And I'm not ruling out either of these at the moment.
Here’s my take.
While twisting Israel’s arm in an unprecedented way, Obama and co want to keep it quiet and ‘nice’ lest they tip off Congress and dimicrat Jews who will then object.
It is in Israel’s interest to have the dispute out in the open.
