A Lansing-area church has filed a lawsuit against protesters who disrupted 1 of their services last year.
The Lansing State Journal reports Friday that Mount Hope Church of Delta Township filed suit against a radical gay activist group called Bash Back! in federal court in Grand Rapids this week.
Bash Back! claims to have disrupted a service at the church on November 9. Members shouted "It's OK to be gay" and "Jesus was a homo" at the bewildered congregation inside the church.
The suit seeks nominal damages and an injunction to prevent future protests.
A Bash Back! Web site says the group is not intimidated and will set up a defense fund to fight the suit....

The Congregation should have a few armed individuals among their flock. When these idiots violently enter their Church again they should shoot them dead.

If such a think happened to an abortion factory, it would be a federal crime punishable by impoverishing fines and serious prison time.
But since it’s fags attacking a church, it’s just “free speech”.

I only live a mile from there. I seems like this happend a year ago and they did not file criminal charges. I wonder what changed their minds.

My DH and I have talked about this. He is a former Marine. With the other large Ushers, no one would want to pull this at our parish.

That was sung last year at the LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League) state convention—held in SOUTHERN Oregon! It was a great hit!!!!
Well according to the second link, they not only disrupted the service with their shouting, they pulled the fire alarm as they exited. I don’t know why they didn’t file charges on that.
