What a piece of crap headline:

Palin camp eyed Clinton alliance

No they didn't. John Coale did. This also caught my eye:

Former President Bill Clinton placed a friendly call to Palin after the election, and Coale sought to use that as an opportunity to play matchmaker.

urged the conservative Alaska governor to use her political action committee to help retire the presidential campaign debt of Hillary Clinton.

Absurd. Totally.

I have to take a shower every time I even think of the oily Clintons.

Sarah Palin needs NOTHING from those two political gangsters.

Any sources Mr. Martin?

Otherwise this is very imaginative and (in some quarters believable) story.

It supports my contention that when you read “credable sources say ...” it’s really a bunch of reporters sitting at the bar exchanging gossip.

Sounds like Coale was testing the waters to see if there might be a RINO hiding in Alaska.

Apparently not.

John Coale, a Washington-area Democratic donor and onetime adviser to Sarah Palin, urged the conservative Alaska governor to use her political action committee to help retire the presidential campaign debt of Hillary Clinton.

Can you smell *setup* here? As if to create a 'straw man' whereby if Sarah even *considers* such an absurd arrangement, she would be tainted with the same muck as every politician is ... all to 'level the playing field' as it were ... then they can say GOTCHA!

Otherwise, I didn't even know that Sarah even *had* a "political action committee" yet? If she does, where can I sign up and contribute ?!?!?!

This is totally bizarre. Apart from the fact that Palin and Clinton are just about as far apart as two people can be, hillary has a hundred times as much money as Sarah could possibly have squirreled away in Swiss Bank accounts.

Sure, she’d like to pay off her debt at someone else’s expense. But she and bill have billions of dollars in ill-gotten gains in those numbered accounts.

Allinace - OK I understand.

BUT - DO NOT LET BILL ANYWHERE NEAR SARAH.

I don't want to read about the Governor of Alaska "accidentally" shooting Mr Clinton.

What a stupid idea. Is that the best she can do for political advisors?

Politico = Washington Post on the net. The left is so clever with their use of language. When I see Politico, I read no further.

Funny when you read the article it would appear the “Palin Camp” sought no such alliance. They are doing everything they can to separate her from the base. They must be scared.

Why on earth would Sarah help pay the Red Queen’s campaign bills just so the Clintons could sit in their mansion in NY and count their coins and chuckle about how they and their ilk pulled a fast one on the Alaska Gov? Sarah is not stupid.

For one thing, it would be illegal to do what Politico suggests. Greta has denied this story, last week, when it first started surfacing. Politico is way behind the times, with this pack of lies.

Greta seems quite taken with Palin or so I thought. Did her husband do this without her knowledge and consent or is she a party to this heinous act?

Sarah didn’t take the bait..GOOD GIRL!! I did read a while ago about Bill Clinton calling Sarah after the election. That’s fine. I mean, he did say nice things about her during the election, he never badmouthed her, but after her for money LOL I thought the Clintons are rich, can’t they get money from their Democratic buddies or have they all abandoned them..WOW, the Clintons need a bailout..perhaps they should go to their buddy Obama and ask for a handout
