It’s time to take the tea party movement directly to Washington, D.C. Please join thousands of local organizers and grassroots Americans from across the country as we gather in our nation’s capital to deliver a message to the politicians: Enough!
We’ve had enough of the out of control spending, the bailouts, the growth of big government and the soaring deficits. And we reject the future tax increases to pay for all of this spending and debt down the road. We are gathering on 9-12-2009 to deliver our message in person that we’ve had enough!

I too want to stay at a hotel with other Freepers....it would make it a lot easier to get into the whole thing. Please let’s organize and make our reservations soon.

Damn' straight, and every single one of 'em too.
I don't care if there's an (R) or (D) after their name, all 537 of 'em need to go one way or another. I don't care if it's tar, rope and feathers or "off with their heads!" it's about damn' time these over-spending, thieving b*stards heard from WE THE PEOPLE.
(For those of you who don't know what the number 537 represents, get edumacated will ya?)
Not only are you in the minority but you are wrong too. I served 22 years in the Army Reserve and still work at Fort Benning and can think of no better activity to honor war dead than to get activist involved to protect freedoms.
Taxes are not just a money issue but involve basic issues of liberty and freedom. Of course Obambi is diverting tax money from defense programs to push corrupt programs that perpetuate his power (funds to acorn) and that buy votes with national funds (increases in government jobs).
Could you send me some info also? Never been to DC but we are planning on being there!

There will be events in New York City, Pentagon, and PA on 9/11 and rightfully so. Those events will also have full coverage by the media.
The events in Washington DC for 9/12 and 9/13 are in the spirit of Americans coming together over the concerns for our Republic, our Constitution and freedoms.

On 9/11 there will be many events held in New York City, the Pentagon, and in PA in memory of all the Americans we lost that terrible day in 2001.
The events in Washington,DC on 9/12 and 9/13 are in the spirit of Americans coming together because of our concerns for our Republic, our Constitution and our freedoms.

This administration and the Dem party have used September 11, to dishonor our military, push the blame away from their failed policies with the military, FBI and CIA and to humiliate and lie about Pres. Bush, Cheney, Rice and Rumsfield.
When WE go to D.C. we WILL be honoring those Americans who died on that horrific day. We honor them by loudly telling our Government their lives are not to be used as political footballs. Their lives meant something to EVERY American who loves their country.
We are not protesting taxes that are used to secure our nation and fund our military. In fact, you’d be hard pressed to find a single conservative who is against spending for our military. If you find one shove a copy of the constitution in their face and make them read it.
We are protesting spending by our government that is making our country unsafe. Spending cuts that strip our military of the ability to wage war against our enemies.
We are protesting a President who would welcome another September 11 to push for additional radical spending measures that would go to radical Anti-American groups like Code Pink and ACORN.
We dishonor the lives of those who were killed on 9/11 and the lives of our military/CIA and National Guard members who’ve died fighting against Islamic Terrorism by standing silent and allowing this President to destroy our country.
We did not go to war against our enemies just to have our country destroyed by the usurper currently in the White House.
What 9-11 coverage? The media has forgotten that 3,000 plus lives that were lost on 9-11. They have a messiah to report on after all.
