Joe Biden addresses students at Bellevue Elementary School in New York on May 10th: BIDEN: How many of you kids want to go to college? Well, guess what? Barack Obama and Joe Biden are going to make sure that every single one you who qualify are going to get to go to college even if you don't have the money in your family to go. We're going to make sure you get there.

You know, I’d like to buy one of those GT500 Shelbys. It’s only $41,000.00. Do you think Barry and Joe would buy me one?
After all, owning the car you want is a right in America, isn’t it?
Then I suggest Zero and Plugs start pooling their savings.
Don’t you know? Everyone has the “right” to an education! Along with a “right” to health care, a “right” to housing, a “right” to a job (though, if you have a “right” to take all these other things, what would you possibly want with a job???).
Will they have to pay the cost back though? That’s the big question.
“We are thrilled to see that your child has an interest in our college and that she qualifies for the 2500.00 grant from the government. Oddly enough, our costs for tuition have gone up by the same amount.”

America needs more people to go to trade schools and learn something actually constructive and highly useful.
We have too many “students” in college already who don’t belong there. And if we don’t graduate a single person from Law School for 20 years the country won’t be harmed in the least.
The corollary to this is that if you do have the money, you’ll have none left over.
“I felt a great disturbance in the Budget, as if millions of wallets cried out in terror and were suddenly emptied.”
"Hey girls! Howabout Uncle Joe gives you a ride to school? I'veeee....got...some...beer. We can listen to some cassettes!"
Will he wipe my butt if I run outta TP?
And, if this policy is implemented,
a college education / diploma
becomes worthless.
There is a reason that some things in life are hard, and only a few achieve in those areas - because those achievements are supposed to show how you’re BETTER than those who don’t achieve them.
Don’t forget the newest “right” - right to information via the internet.
“Will they have to pay the cost back though?”

Only if their parents have actually sacrificed and saved over the years for their education, will they have to pay it back.
If their parents instead immediately blew any extraneous household cash on the gambling boat every weekend, no repayment will be necessary.
Welcome to the diseased world of federally subsidized higher education.
What will be the value of a college degree - if everybody will have one ??
And admission standards will be lowered even further so that you'll qualify for most any university.
They’d better up their charitable giving then, huh.

You live in Massachusetts? I understand cars are free there.
My daughter wants to go to William and Mary and my son would like to attend a school for digital art.
