Has no one noticed the thinly veiled threat?

If Joe and Hussein are going to send kids to college that are in grade school today, it means they plan to stay in power for much longer than two terms! President-for-life Obama?

Think of these "professors" of "weekender" skills are the university version of the car companies' "job banks," where unions "park" human non-workers awaiting some job on which they could be placed. Meanwhile, of course, they collect full paychecks, typically playing pinochle, phone-based solitare or minesweeeper.

Consider for a moment the advantaged hiring that has gone on in these areas to get pals' GLBT friends tenure-track positions. Conservatives are weeded out with a vengeance or relegated to menial tasks if the somehow avoided the screening earlier in their careers.

And have you noticed how many universities cost--at minimum--$40K per "year" in tuition, room, books and board nowadays?

Gee, do you think something might need to change in this segment of society after a "seachange" "is effected?"

How about us adults who's working class blue collar parents couldn’t afford to send us to college? I missed out on all of that fun and have allot of making up to do. So where's my tuition? And be sure I have enough to buy a raccoon coat, a Letterman's sweater, a jalopy to pick up swinging coeds in, and spending cash for the afternoons hanging around the soda fountain with my pals.

BINGO!!!

The Libs and gooders never see it correctly. In the last 50 years two sectors' costs have quintupled the inflation rate:higher ed and health and hospitalization. Why? Because 90% of the consumers never pay anything approaching the cost. As long as govt grants and no interst loans pay tuition you'll get few people rebelling against college costs. As long as the Medis (care and aid) and employee benefits paid health costs no one complained that a semi private bed and care at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC cost $15 a day in 1958 and $1500 a day in 2008. A Fordham Univ tuition in 1968 was $1800 a year while today it's $29000. How many sectors of the economy have increased so much?

Yes, in that line of thought, I wonder what the First Punishments are up to these days.

Yeah...where did all these "rights" come from? From what I've read, you have the right to pursue happiness own your own effort and merits, but I don't even see that guaranteed. Further, if you take my happiness away and give it to someone who hasn't pursued squat, doesn't that violate my pursuit of happiness?

Joe Biden addresses students at Bellevue Elementary School

Maybe he should've pulled up a chair and learned something - for once...

“EEDUDE = Electrical Engineering?”

Yeah.

I agree that way too many people are in college that do not belong there. Most jobs in this world don’t require a college education.

But where else can you go to meet all those chicks and drink all that beer?

The important word here is “who qualify” the people who do not qualify are the ones who pay taxes to send the ones who do not pay taxes and most of the time the ones who pay taxes and will not qualify can not afford to send their own kids because of the hight taxes. This is crap
