And American Jews, in general, are liberals.
It’s been explained to me, but I still don’t get it.
There will be a counterdemonstration today put on by Young Americans for Freedom (YAF). They will be stoning a woman in a burka to make their point about the hypocrisy of PLO terrorists calling Israel apartheid.
Here’s the itinerary:
Okay all the details should be set in place now. We will have a video camera from Red County and hopefully a decent crowd showing up tomorrow.
We still need the following specifics sorted out:
I was unable to get confirmation from the UCI College Reps as to if they had a girl willing to be our accused woman, after their president asked around no one really stepped up, but that is not a big problem at this time.
Here is a timeline for tomorrow:
5:30pm-6:00pm - Meet at Parking Structure on Campus Drive near East Peltason St.
6:00pm-6:20pm - Speaker Jesse Petrilla, will address the group on Sharia Law and fundamentalist Islam
6:20pm-6:30pm - Distribute press release and flyers (attached) about why we decided to do this protest in the manner in which we are doing it.
6:30pm-7:00pm - Trial of accused adulteress and stoning of the accused.
Please invite and encourage others to come, this event will only be successful if we have a good turn out of at least 20 people.

Do you guys know anybody in SoCal who can show up for this tonight????
UC Irvine: the Education of Marxists
Sorry, but I'm nowhere near Southern California . . . or any of the rest of California, for that matter.
It does my heart good that YAF is leading the protest against this, considering the anti-Israel bias many conservatives had back in the Bad Old Days. It makes up for the occasional palaeo crawling out from under a rock to post here at FR.
If you'd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

Anyone in the area might note post 3
Nice to see there are still conservatives at UCI. I still remember the time one of the conservative clubs attempted to have a fundraising bbq near some hunger strikers who were protesting the UC Regents’ decision to end affirmative action within the UC system. That was great. ;-)
