How come nobody ripped the last Rnc leader? Nobody even knows who it was. But they sure as heck jump on Steele. Just wonder why.

Ansell2, I wish you would make up your mind once and for all whether you would like to promote unity and strengthen the conservative cause or take your spite out on Mormons, caring nothing about spreading dissension.

Can't you get it through your head that the real enemy is the secular, anti religion, anti God, Marxist, policies of the Democrat party. Many denominations and religions are represented in the conservative cause and the Republican party. We need unity, not the propagating of your hates.

I do not see pretentious, religious bigots as part of the conservative movement any more than the David Duke types are. They may have some of the same enemies as conservatives but their narrow mindedness only hurts the cause of intelligent conservatism. Better to let them wander alone in the wilderness of their own ignorance.

Christian book stores were mentioned in a way that was misleading, I merely pointed out that Christians that are aware of their churches description of Mormonism would know that their church does not recognize Mormonism as Christian and so some would look for that topic in Christian bookstores.

I will not ignore misleading falsehoods and allow them to continue to mislead just so that your candidate’s agenda is furthered.

As you know FR is officially a hostile environment to Mitt Romney, so don’t try to pretend different and play the, can’t we just get along act.

Hear ye, hear ye. You win the prize for best insight into what’s really going on among a certain segment of the general population as well as among a certain segment of Freeper Mormon haters. I’m surprised the whole gang of them hasn’t jumped on this thread yet. They tend to run in packs. Gives them more cover for their Mormon hatred, and they can bounce their comments off each other, all agreeing on the main topic, the slamming of Mitt Romney. Of course, I may be speaking too soon here. The night is young, and the thread still short.

Looks like hate to me.

This is stupid. Why are Republicans infighting over this stuff? Do they think that this is drawing attention to the party? It is! But only in ridcule. Why don’t they grow up?

I didn’t vote for Romney because he is a RINO. His religion had little to do for my decision. While I object to some of their tenets of faith, they are normally very moral people and wonderful citizens. I objected to his waffling on the issue of life and family issues, in which he is very much out of character for a Mormon.

IIRC, the RNC head honcho before Steele was Mike Duncan from Kentucky. Duncan was a typical behind the scenes organizer and fund raiser. Steele is giving the RNC job a higher public visibility factor. With that comes the need for greater leadership qualities. So far, Steele has proven he isn't up to the job. I don't see that changing either.

But you help make it a hostile environment for Mormons, and in that you help make the site less effective. Nothing the liberals would like more than get the conservatives arguing and developing animosity towards each other.

Does Steele think Rush Limbaugh is a Mormon?

Will it not be great fun watching these two cavort during the election years of 2010 and 2012, if Steele is still around then?

How dare Steele try to point out the truth.

Discussing matters of faith mainly on the religion forum is hostile?

And in turn that makes Mitt's political “shortcomings” verbotten as well?

Hum...

"Chairman Steele regrets the way his comments have been interpreted," RNC spokeswoman Gail Gitcho said.

More proof that the RNC has been taken over by Dimocrats. That's a Dimocrat apology.
