According to SourceWatch, between 1971 and 1999, Americans had spent over $200 billion dollars on cancer research with little to show for it.

I am one of the skeptics that wonders if researchers would welcome a cure for cancer. There are many who claim there are already natural cures but are hidden. http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=War_on_Cancer

I have to disagree with this. We may not be close to a cure for cancer, but treatments, survival rates, and quality of life has improved dramatically since the 1970’s. Heck even in the past 20 twenty years.
