A senior teacher has been suspended from his £50,000-a-year job after he complained that a training day for staff was used to promote gay rights.
Kwabena Peat, 54, was one of several Christian staff who walked out of the compulsory session at a North London school after an invited speaker questioned why people thought heterosexuality was natural.
The presentation was given by Sue Sanders, a co-founder of the Schools Out organisation which campaigns for gay equality in education.
According to Mr Peat, Ms Sanders, herself a lesbian, said that staff who did not accept that being gay was normal had ‘issues’ they had to deal with.
Mr Peat, a history teacher who is also a head of year, said he was upset that people who disagreed on religious grounds had no chance to respond.
He wrote privately to the three staff members who organised the session, complaining about Ms Sanders’ ‘aggressive’ presentation. In his letter, he cited the Bible and warned that practising homosexuals risked God’s ‘wrath’.
But the staff complained to the school’s principal that they felt ‘harassed and intimidated’ by the letter and, after an investigation, Mr Peat was placed on paid leave. He is now being supported by the Christian Legal Centre.
‘I am very disappointed, although not shocked,’ the married father of three said last night. ‘I am the one who has been harassed and intimidated – for expressing my religious views.’

I don’t know what else transpired, but his walk out would seem to have spoken loudly enough unless he had been pressed for an explanation. Still, this is stupid.

I’m kinda disappointed in this guy. Yes, we all know that the Bible condemns homosexual sex, but guess what? Most people don’t care. Stop telling people that the Bible forbids gay sex and start explaining why the Bible forbids gay sex. Obviously hetrosexuality is natural because it is the only means of reproduction in nature. Nature wants to survive, it’s going to take a sperm, an egg and a womb. End of story.
Why is Heterosexual natural? Hmm, where do I start? I’ll start with the way we are built as in men have sperm, women have eggs and leave it at that.

Also that man and woman are complementary in a way that no two women or two men can be.
Good answer. People think mostly about sexual pleasure and all that, but, the basic biological function of sexual activity is reproduction. So, biologically speaking, heterosexuality would be “normal”. I’ve got to remember this as a “talking point”. Nobody has to make judgement about gay people or any of that. Just talk about the biology of reproduction. If everyone were gay, the human species would die out.
What makes me think that heterosexuality is natural???? Is this a real question??? I belive it’s just a set up to get people who don’t buy into this homo-sickness. If people want to know the truth, look at how propigation of any species occurs - it’s not from homosexuality. There’s also the little (sarc) issue of God’s law. When you play with fire . . .
That such a clueless question should be asked is proof that common sense is becoming rare.

And if being homosexual is genetic - how come IT doesn’t die out? (Just kidding, sort of!?)
Does that lady not realize that, human emotions aside, the whole point of life is procreation and furthering the species and the only NATURAL way to do that is to stick the “parts” that were made for each other together.
I will agree that some people are “born” homosexual. I think That there must be some sort of gene that causes this, but I would figure that it’s some sort of genetic mutation that causes homosexuality and there for the homo lifestyle is not normal per se.
But even those with severe genetic problems such as down syndrome (at least the dozen or so that I know) never exhibited homo tendencies, so even amongst the “Chromosomally Challenged” members of our society, homosexuality is ABNORMAL.
It is sickening. 2 blocks away from me is the Gay center and the only argument they have is the word “equality”. That’s it. Of course, they’ll call me intolerant right after they threaten to burn churches down.
This is about science, not religion. And Sue Sanders is apparently scientifically illiterate.

only heterosexuals can breed.....homosexuals can not breed.....
since the very foundation of humanity relies on breeding, that means heterosexual sexual activity is the norm.....it HAS to be...
the only TRUE reason for the biology of males and females in sexual intercourse is the propagation of the species........the pleasure principle is just the sweetness to enhance it....
sure homos can cheat up breeding...but that is just window dressing....
anal sex can not produce children.....period..
