The acting head of Freddie Mac, David Kellermann, has apparently committed suicide, Fairfax County Police tell WTOP. Fairfax County Police spokeswoman Mary Anne Jennings says Kellermann, 41, was found at his Hunter Mill Estates home Wednesday morning.

Jennings says police responded to the home after family members called police around 5 a.m.

"We were called from inside the house to come investigate an apparent suicide," Jennings says.

Because of legal ramifications, Jennings says she can't describe the nature of the suicide.

"We're not to give you details of the condition of the body, except to say it was an apparent suicide," Jennings says.

This gentleman was INTIMATELY involved in the Financial Decision Making and Reporting chain of command with significant fiduciary responsibility for perhaps the largest misuse of public monies in the history of the world... His name is NOT found among those who attempted to blow the whistle or call public attention to the extreme risk.

I’m not at all surprised he felt some level of guilt..though as you say there is no evidence this is the reason for his apparent suicide..

I AM surprised that any of the pimps and bloodsuckers in “civil service” had the testosterone to take their own life...

And yes - frankly I DO hope that others follow his example since there is no other likely means to rid government of the sorry lot of bastards currently in charge...
It seems Americans have been “conditioned” to the point they expect corrupt, inept, incompetent, self serving power craving morons in office.

However fear not - you’re not alone..
A lot of folks find me obnoxious and crusty...
I’ve worked hard at it for nearly 70 years and earned it the hard way..through life experiences where a lot of men much finer that this suicide were killed in “service” to our Government. Time for MORE of our failed Civil Servants to experience the sacrifice.....

Hell - I’m so bad I’d be willing to contribute to a fund to buy new rope and distribute it to EVERY Government building in Washington.

Thanks...been on that thread all morning w/ crossing checking numerous past articles.......seems to me the CDS, mortgage meltdown, Great Depression II, Hedge fund meltdown, 0, Frank, Dodd, Clintoon, Raines, Gorelick, Emmanuel, TARP, banking bailout, etc., circle is a probably the biggest corruption story ever to unfold in the history of the US.

Wonder if it was foul play? Did he know anything damaging on obozo, rahmbo and other RATS? Clintoons had their Vince Foster. Now obozo & rahmbo have their David Kellermann.

Good grief. Another Vince Foster situation. And of course, no one in the press gives a s*** much less raises an eyebrow.

I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for your service to this country.

There is a reason people are finding you obnoxious and crusty river rat. I hope you take a few minutes and think about what you are saying here.

I want all these corrupt criminals out of here too....but calling for them all to end their lives says things about you that I hope aren’t true.

Have a good day.

In GA I have always heard it as VII-ina. Stretch the VII and rush the ina. Not bad for a Yankee though :-)

Here in NC, it rhymes with hyena, unless you're talking about Vienna Sausages, in which case it's "vie-EEE-nee." One of the better, old neighborhoods in Winston-Salem, Buena Vista, is pronounced "Byoo-na Vista." There's an actual book written on the subject of the correct mispronunciation of South Carolina place names, lol.

But didn’t Bush try to investigate and pose regulations to this mess in 2003 and was basically told to shut up about it by the Democrats?

Since the bureacratic drones that are destroying this nation are legion and they won’t give up the cushy do nothing but power ladden jobs they do - Suicide should be encouraged.

You are absolutely right!

barney frank’s father was in the new jersey mob.

>According to Frank, his father was involved with the Mafia. “Funzi Tieri, a big-time gangster with the Genovese family, came to my brother David’s bar mitzvah, when I was twenty-three,” he said. Sam Frank died at the age of fifty-three, while Barney was an undergraduate at Harvard, and Barney took a year off to help resolve the family’s tangled financial affairs. “The Mafia guys were very helpful to me at the time,” he said.<

"Passport suicide from Earthdweller’s post:"

That one was not a suicide...he was shot. Everyone can remember about the passport scandal...but not that a key witness was murdered. Makes you go ..hmmmmmmmm.

I don’t either...I am so sick of the nonsense. Sometimes, I think it does not matter who you vote for...I vote for Repubs who have never kept their promises...the Dems who supported Obama are now learning he doesn’t keep his promises either...what is the answer?

He hung himself in the basement...his wife was home. It’s not foul play. I’m betting he was facing scandal and possible indictment.
