God bless him for not caving to the media onslaught. Yes, it looks like she set him as someone she could bully with the microphone, but she came off looking like a partisan mouthpiece.

Did you see her cut him off and try to say “Do you know that child your holding get you $400 tac credit” (or am I just imagining that?)

He’s scared. It is a sad world we live in when a guy protesting peacefully fears after being on the news.
To: wrrock
I hope that people will watch this and turn against CNN. Reporters are supposed to report, not scream in the face of a man carrying a child.

The press seems to think they are dealing with redneck idiots. They are so far above the redneck rabble. But then they run into ordinary Americans who turn out to be smarter than they are—by a long shot.
I don’t know what this guy does for a living, but you can see that he does something for a living, and does it well. And at the same time he is well married, and raising a family, and concerned about the future.
More than you can say for that idiot reporter.

Why is Obama, from Chicago, the most sophisticated, cool, suave, debonair, erudite being that ever graced our country? And yet this very nice and cordial and intelligent father , also from Chicago, a redneck?

He needs to get in touch with Joe The Plumber to learn how to handle this publicity.
I'm sure by now Homeland Security, the IRS, the State of Illinois, the FBI, Secret Service (have I missed any) have been combing his background with a fine tooth comb and any indiscretion - no matter how minor - will be blasted across the country in a negative light.

I NEVER EVER thought I would dislike and despise a president to the level I do this charlatan, bo I, to this day!
He has turned Americans into enemies of each other and so extremely frightened and angst-ridden to speak their minds freely as Americans.
Damn be this man for what he is doing to this country.

I am as upset as you are, but I look at Captain Zero as just a symptom of the disease that is currently infecting America.
Hopefully, the cure for the disease will start in November 2010 and be completed in 2012.

"Why is Obama, from Chicago, the most sophisticated, cool, suave, debonair, erudite being that ever graced our country? And yet this very nice and cordial and intelligent father , also from Chicago, a redneck?"I haven't seen the video - though I heard it - so I can't say for sure, but I'm guessing this good man is white, since they call him a redneck.
See, whites in "Flyover country" can only be rednecks if they're not William Ayers-like liberals.
This is perhaps one of the legacies of all those Black sitcoms where the only whites you see are clueless buffoons (Jim Carey coming to mind?)
Guess they're still trying to get even with us for laughing along with Amos 'n' Andy...
