Thanks for the thread!

Is there a record for the amount of posts on a thread?

Have a care folks. Fox & FRiends (steve) reported that he saw on one on the left wing blogs that they have professional cameras and are going to be posing as a camera crew from a tv network.
They are going to try to trick you up into saying something that can be taken out of context.

If you are going to be interviewed by a camera crew ask to see their credentials. Might not be a bad idea to have the numbers of local television stations so you can call them to confirm they sent out a crew.

The upper limit is on the order of 64K posts, then it rolls over to a new thread.

I'm sure there is, but this won't even come close. Partly because there are multiple threads on the topic, and partly because the subject matter will be Overcome By Events soon to come. Whatever those might be.

The longest thread I know about has 13,725 posts, with an occasional post being added from time to time, even now, 5 years and 8 months after the first post. The subject, Logan, who weighed 1 lb. 8.3 oz when thread was started, is now a fine young man, and a future leader of the nation. The most recent post was less than a month ago, part of an update on the Young Master.

Here he was "then"

And here he was a month ago:

Obama just put the Little Man into at least tens of thousands of dollars of debt. Probably more.
