They need a megaphone. All they have to do is approach the boat with the captive and pirates. Somebody gets on the megaphone and says “triple lindy in 10, 9, 8”
The pirates would not have a clue, the Captain would know what to do.
Nice to have the Marines close by, but until they can secure the freedom of the hostage, I don’t think we’ll see any moves by the military.
However, once the hostage is safe, I think the US Marines have some trash to dispose of.
The military would not fire on the boat unless given the authority to do so.
Remember, we had a Marine’s body dragged through Mogadishu because Clinton wouldn’t allow weaponry on Black Hawks.
The FBI agents should have been put in their own lifeboat once they arrived so the USN could carry on.
The CIC should be the Commander in Chief, not the clown in clothes.
What would be better is for the commanders to take independent actions due to the changing nature of the situation and just plain ignore Barry and Hillary.
If the Boxer is under orders to diplomatically wipe them out he will do well. The extra hostages being brought into the area makes it tricky. This will be interesting.
By waiting so long we have already greatly emboldened Al Qaeda terrorists, the Taliban terrorists, the Iranian terrorist regime, the North Korean communist regime, Hizballah terrorists, Hamas terrorists not to mention the Russians and the Chinese. Even if we kill all the pirates and bomb Somalia there is nothing that can change the perception of our enemies toward us because no matter what happens now they know that Obama is the weakest President ever. Because of this our enemies are going to hurt us a lot.

Well, I don’t think there’s any secret that the Navy is on the scene...just a matter of time before the Marines have to “take out the trash!” I hope these Somali muzzies have “settled their account with Allah”
I was thinking it could be done silently at night, the SEALS push or tow the lifeboat right up and on the stern lifting ramp, complete ship blackout with fog generators running.
