Grey Lady Spiked Election “Game Changing” Story

All the Leftist news that they don’t seem fit to print: ‘New York Times’ Spiked Obama Donor Story

A lawyer involved with legal action against Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) told a House Judiciary subcommittee on March 19 The New York Times had killed a story in October that would have shown a close link between ACORN, Project Vote and the Obama campaign because it would have been a “a game changer.”

Heather Heidelbaugh, who represented the Pennsylvania Republican State Committee in the lawsuit against the group, recounted for the ommittee what she had been told by a former ACORN worker who had worked in the group’s Washington, D.C. office. The former worker, Anita Moncrief, told Ms. Heidelbaugh last October, during the state committee’s litigation against ACORN, she had been a “confidential informant for several months to The New York Times reporter, Stephanie Strom.” More details in the story, but, is anyone surprised? Now, we do have to take this with a slight grain of salt, since it is basically Heidelbaugh’s word versus a NY Times that refused to respond to provide clarity, and we all know how honest ACORN has been. But, it wouldn’t be surprising, would it? We all know how liberal papers tend to operate.

Consider the “we’re just wondering” stories about McCain. They “just wondered” if McCain was eligible to be president, whether he had an affair, and whether his cancer could return. They didn’t “just wonder” if Obama’s smoking could be a problem (strange, since the Times is so anti-Big Tobacco,) there was no interest in a reported affair by Obama, no interest in John Edwards’ purported affair that resulted in a baby, no “just wondering” story about Obama’s birth certificate, no investigation of Obama at all. Their journalistic ethics went out the window. And, let’s not forget

“The New York Times keeps going over the line in every single campaign and last year was the worst, easily,” said Mal Kline of the American Journalism Center. “They would ignore real questions worth examining about Obama, the questions about Bill Ayers or about how he got his house. Then on the other side they would try to manufacture scandals.”

Mr. Kline mentioned Gov. Sarah Palin was cleared by investigators of improperly firing an Alaska State Trooper, but went unnoticed by The Times. Is there anyone who thinks that an Obama who was actually vetted by the media would be president today? Might that 8 million person lead have blown away like a fa……. um, leaf on the wind?

The NYTimes and the MSM are thoroughly corrupt. They are part of the evil that is enveloping this country.

I predicted this.

I also predict that with huge increases in voter fraud and much worse media “bias” (I think we passed bias some time back), that the left is in power for a lifetime. Baring massive civil disobedience and probably armed resistance.

Don’t think this’ll be barred.

I wish I believed Civil War is coming, but I don’t. Why? Because the vast majority of Americans are okay with sitting on their butts in the living room and watching the news, instead of getting out and protesting or writing representatives or campaigning....

And yes, I think we have seen our last “free and fair” election in this country, until Civil War does happen. (No, this past election was not “free” or “fair” it was Purchased.)

It won’t take a lot of people; just those who are willing to sacrifice and build momentum. For example, most of the colonists in 1776 were royalists; not revolutionaries.

In the War Between The States, consider how quickly the Confederacy had an Army and a Navy - in the field, fully armed and in uniforms.

I firmly believe that there is a tipping point which will ignite such a furor that Americans will have no choice but to fight.

Gray Lady Down.

Not the best movie but a proper title for media.

It's a damn shame that the 9/11 terrorists didn't believe we valued the NTY building in NYC or the CNN Center in Atlanta more than the WTC or the Pentagon.

Yeah sure. Like that's really going to happen. Can't even get the armchair FReeper warriors out to work an election.

Call me when they start marching.

I think it's awful that we would have to consider fighting, in a physical way. Sadly, I think the power pendulum swung in the wrong direction this past 5 years, and now it's being soldered there permanently via the "census" (ACORN), the embracing and socializing of all illegal immigrants (definitely Democrats), and "redistribution of wealth" from the working Conservative voters to the welfare-collecting Democrat voters.

Benjamin Franklin was right - two quotes: "Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both." and "When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic."

I don't think I'll need your phone number. Sadly.

I told my wife, and she agreed, if/when we see uniformed Obama youth brigades with armbands, we are leaving the country. We will cash in everything we have and walk away from our mortgage and home.

This is only the tip of the iceberg of MSM collusion with politicians.

The infuriating story would be the full degree to which the MSM spiked stories, such as the LA Slimes not revealing the tape of the BO being honored by a terrorist-supporter in CA.

Awesome! This is absolutely the only way we will get things to change. The colonists had a tea party, but it was more than just sitting around blogging and emailing. They took action! They did not sit idly by! And I am sick of doing just that - hoping we get the right people into office, that they can stick to their principles, and so forth. That time is over. It is time we take the battle to them. Push back until!
