the ad is here:

these are the lyrics to the TV ad:

There's a rainbow around my shoulder
And a sky of blue above
And I'm shouting so the world will know
That I'm in love

There's a rainbow around my shoulder
`Cause I'm in love

It sounds like a promo for those classified ads appearing in the back pages of various alternative newsweeklies.

Similar titles have included “Consenting Adults” and “Entre Nous.”

I live in Massachusetts. Politicians in and from this state suck. Laws and regulations in this state suck. Taxes in this state suck. Homo marriage in this state sucks. but, I do not see any problem with the sign

Actually, I plan to vacation in Massachusetts.

(It's on my "to visit" list, right after Beirut and Chad.)

Methinks you’re reading a little too much into it.

Mind you, I think Taxachusetts is a pretty gay place to take a vacation, but . . .

Soon to be followed by a rainbow-titled add for New Hampshire, recently invaded by Massholes.

Yep, the double entendre is pretty blatant. Almost worse is watching the kid jump into Boston Harbor with the Mystic River Bridge behind him, LOL. Yeah, it's supposed to be a beach, but it's just too close for comfort.

I dunno; I kinda think the creator of the ad campaign has "the eye", too.

Its a rainbow. So what? I’m not sure when a color spectrum necessarily became a gay statement ... but I see no problem with this.

My daughter draws rainbows all over the place — do you think she might be a GLAAD operative?

I was expecting something much worse. Not a word about being gay. In fact the listings are very normal. Not a very good commercial I will give you that, but not the scary ghost either. I was nervous to look at first...lol. No telling what these crazies would put on the TV. It is very tame.

My friend lives right at the complex where the kid is jumping in. That’s the view from her balcony. It’s at the convergence of Chelsea Creek. Get that kid a Tetanus Shot.

Just because you are naive about the rainbow being the symbol of gay pride, doesn't mean you have to get negative.

At least when such information is up front, it’s easier to know what vacation spots to avoid.
