By that logic....the caveman would have died so early that we all shouldn’t even be here... bullshit.

More BS from the war on meat. This stuff has been disproved so many times. See Gary Taubes' incredibly detailed scientific analysis in his book,
Good Calories, Bad Calories. The War on Meat, from the same researchers who gave us Global Warming and the "epidemic" of heterosexual AIDs.

Either have a short satisfying life, or a long bland one.
There's always a trade off, isn't there?

JERRY: But you’re going over there for dinner tonight, right?
ELAINE: Um uh.
JERRY: What is she making?
ELAINE: I don’t know. But I’m sure it had, . . . PARENTS!
Call her up. She won’t mind if you come.
JERRY: Oh, don’t worry. I’ll be there and I’ll be packing an artery.

>> CHICAGO The largest study of its kind finds that older Americans who eat large amounts of red meat and processed meats face a greater risk of death from heart disease and cancer. <<
And I’ve got a study to find that people who drive Priuses and pound their own skulls with hammers tend to get brain injuries.
Why does this study lump processed meat and red meat together? This should be two separate studies. And after 30 years of bullsh!t indoctrination about red meat, how are we to know that this study isn’t simply finding a correlation between people who eat lots of red meat and people who ignore other “studies” such as not to smoke, or not to pound your own skull with hammers?

If this is a new study then how come my doctor has been trying to get me to cut back on red meat to a couple of meals a week for 10 years? Seems to me like someone already knew.

As opposed to dying from cancer or heart disease?

I’d rather die of cancer at 80 after eating 16 oz. ribeyes, than eat tofu and seaweed until I’m 100 (more than likely, I’ll probably have Alzheimers so I won’t remember anything past age 80 anyway).

You are eating too much red meat, elder comrade 124433279688. Your ration card will no longer include red meat, and your healthcare quota will be increased to cover the extra expense to the state’s wonderful healthcare system.
Now thank us profusely and get the hell out.
