Ouch. Oh well, Reagan and Clinton had some pretty dismal approval ratings during their first terms, but a growing economy put an end to that, thanks to those tax cuts and spending reductions.........

I wish Rasmussen would take some time off. Spare us these “daily tracking polls” and try monthly or quarterly. These daily polls are meaningless and are done just to make news. I know, if I don’t like them I shouldn’t read them. Fair enough, I won’t...

39% of the nation’s voters want a king to write checks and tell them he’ll take care of them. The ideal which is America is in danger from within.

Too bad the next election is four years away. I think Presidential terms ought to be two years, max, with a two-term limit. I really do. House terms ought to be one year, Senate terms ought to be three years and appointed by state legislatures. Two-term limits all around!

Oh, and no retirement packages.

I just noticed that, unlike previous daily tracking polls, there is no listing of what Republicans and Democrats think. Last poll had 52% of Republicans strongly disapproving of Obama. Only 52%!

I almost want to post a vanity thread but I’m really curious to read anecdotal stories from FR members about the people they know or suspect voted for Obummer.

Are you sensing a change in these people? Buyer’s remorse setting in yet? Is the stock market affecting them yet? Etc.

I only know two people that voted for Obummer but I haven’t heard anything through the grapevine about their current views yet.

If the Leaders of the Republican aprty wanted to win elections they would look at the terrible numbers given about Congress and start a plan to tell people “we get it!!” We are going to take government out of your life and give you the help you want. IF 78% THINK GOVERNMENT GETS IT WRONG THEN WORK WITH THOSE PEOPLE.

I think the fix is in on these numbers. They don’t correspond at all to reality and to what I’m hearing in this part of the US.

The whole premise to this is - The American people were lied too. They were duped. Yes, most of us Conservatives knew better, but some of us are privy to information they (most Americans) are not privy too.

Many Americans do not have cable, etc. This is why a grassroots effort in every local area is pertinent for all Americans to stay informed - Letter writing, townhall meetings, etc.

Now that Obama is in the National limelight without any cover, the American people are being shocked by what they see.

The media can’t hide their little darling anymore. No matter what they do now, the truth will come out.

Remember, local issues and elections do matter. This is how President Ronald Wilsom Reagan was elected.

I don’t recall a newbie President having approval numbers slide so quickly like the Teleprompter Kid’s.

You know only 2 people? You are lucky. Here in Mass, everyone I know, except for Mr. Cookiedough and me, voted for 0. What’s worse, they all still adore him.
